Sky Saxon a big standout in my 60's days is still playing to this day with a new Seeds band. If you don't have the box set be sure to get it as it has some very cool tunes on it. I saw Sky a few years ago and he is quite a special character in his persona, don't know if its the remnents of the drugs we used or if he just like being a strange cat. His voice has lost a bit of the edge but its cool to see him out there still rockin. Peace In Music..
I've only heard them in the movie Psyche-out,and i really liked them!But i cant find any of their albums..
I found them in the "Oldies" section at Tower Records,lots of 60's rock/psychedelic bands are in that section,like Canned Heat,Paul Revere & The Raiders,The Zombies etc...
yeah the seeds are great. their albums have been paired up on about three CDs. my favourite seeds album is "future". Where sky narates the bit about the march of the flower children!
