my friend seans buddy tim said to me that i have i slight hint of hillbilly in my accent...i hate when im compaired to a hick...its the goddamn town i live in, im a product of my environment...what can i say

hmm sort of but it can get alot worse. hell its the most vulgar noise in the world when they talk man. have you ever seen Kath and Kim?

when I visited Arkansas back in the summer after grade 8, people kept asking how I lost my Canadian accent so fast.

I didnt' realize I had an accent at all, compared to how they talk... i just sounded like me and they sounded totally normal, it was really weird

Well at least you don't sound like you walked off of the Gone with the Wind movie set. I hate my fuckin' accent and sweet sounding voice. ICK! It doesn't match my personality at all.

 

I have the st.louis/wv mix so when I worked near Cleveland at the gas station some of my regulars would call me miss WV and make fun of they way I said things

I recently went to England, and everybody said I sounded like a Canadian-Norwegian. I'm from northern Minnesota, so I sound like the people from that movie Fargo, I guess. I don't think I do. Also, both my parents immigrated here from Poland -- so to say that a full-blooded Pole like me sounds Norwegian is a major blow to my ego --although my wife is a full-blooded Norwegian.
