my mom is a huge pain in the ass. it was nicer when she had a job to keep her busy. once she started staying home, she went psycho. she's still crazy, mind you, but now she's just the funnest.

 

Yeah, IG, a in-touch male is likely to get pummeled, but that's a problem with society. We're told one thing "Men should be in touch with their emotions" but when our children are babysat by the television, they're told another: "Men should be strong and handsome, look like this, and abstain from all feminine behaviours." And which do you think they hear more of?

If more parents stayed home, or at least AWARE of what their children are seeing, we wouldn't have the problem of in-touch men being pummelled.

*the comment about parents staying home is not directed at any forumers, because as a group, most forumers are NOT like normal society in ANY way.*

 

Totally agreed. My true self isnt feminine in the slightest, but i can fit into the role quite easily. I have a feeling the majority of us are actors. Why? I dont really know, to be honest Why to i pretend to be womanly?

 

you know, my looks, my body, my voice, my behavior, etc. is so absurdly female (i truly do squeek & giggle, it's kinda horrifying) that one might wonder if i'm some sorta lab experiment. but i gave up trying to behave more appropriately tough just so that i wouldn't look ridiculous. i can't help it that the site of me holding a hammer in my truly tiny hands sends people into convulsions of hilarity and watching me eat potato chips is hypnotic. i can't pretend to be something i'm not, and therefore i can't expect anyone else to do so. just because i'm feminine doesn't mean i'm not a scary fucking broad when threatened.

Women's issues is a major forum linked off the main page. It's done that way because women are victimised from birth to death and feminism is of grave importance.

Men's issues is a small public forum someone paid for, hidden in the bowels of this website. Noone knows about it. Skip refuses to give it the same status as feminyst rights.

Guess it's cause anyone who talks about gender inequality on the other side is some kind of whiner.

 

oh,, hush up. every time someone nominates it to be put on the main age someone goes all juvenile and ruins it.
