I will tell you that soy bean is a genetically modified hybrid. Both dairy pushing and soy pushing is a result of the same diseased force: delusion. Neither product has health benefits.* To make a food tastier than soy milk is so easy! Soak a bunch of raw, organic hulled sunflower seeds for an hour. Drain and rinse them. Put them in a blender, blend them with honey and some cinnamon or whatever and water, strain, and serve as any mlyk! This is sun mylk. It is super delicious. The best mylk ever. *These statements are supported by spiritual intuition and not mass media.
Just so you know: "soy protein" is a waste industrial product. But apparently they're lobbying us to accept it being disposed of in our food supply. Even though it's oestrogenic.
The seed itself resists hybridization far more than the soy 'bean' I will always say to eat seeds, especially presoaked(3 hours to really sprout a sunflower seed and remove its digesitve inhibitors) as opposed to any bean, legume, grain, or even nut. The sunflower seed is certainly not a perfect food although it is an amazing food, but compared to what some of us like myself who used to drink soy milk ritually consumed it is the best food ever. Plus it is loaded with vitamins, minerals, protein, and esential fats, and is amazingly affordable as one of the cheapest seeds around. Of course always use organic seeds! The left over pulp from making milk can be dehydrated into flour and used for making raw treats!
What, tastewise? Nutiva is the only decent hemp company as far as I know. I will admit though eating the hemp seed itself is healthier than hititng protein powder. I purchased it as an experiment to discover if I am the kind of person whod erives energy from fat or protein since I already know it's not carbs. As I figured I am a protein person. I hit an energy low eating ltos of fats for awhile. I was macking down on a few baby coconuts a day making these incredible smoothies and puddings and drinks and stuff with algaes and goji berries and organic raw cacao and cinnamon ands chinese tonics. Anyway are you referring to the taste? I like the taste. Although I will admit to enjoying bizarre dark, colored things with astringent and bitter qualities, haha! My mother, a chocaholic, pretty much spit out the piece of raw chocolate I gave her!
I use coconut cream as a cooking milk substitute. So far I have used for triffle and mashed potato. It is not as processed like soy milk and at least where I am it has a lower unit cost than soy milk or UHT milk.
