Why is it that when I take some deep breaths then hold, I start seeing colors? Till I get another breath back in? I remember last night I was standing over a coffee table, my arms were out like a bird and I was stretching, I held my breath for 5 seconds then slowly released, I started seeing colors and almost passed out from repeating. Why?

You're depriving your brain of oxygen, that's why. Breathe normal from now on.

    Orthostatic hypotension.

That means standing / positional low blood pressure. Not nearly as fancy as it sounds. You know how sometimes when you stand up too fast, you get lightheaded? (and that's more likely to happen if you're already run down and/or dehydrated). Well, the act of stretching (especially if you stretch upwards helps that fun little process along. If I did that I think I would probably not stay conscious long. Doesn't seem to happen to everyone. Lucky us. Not serious - just annoying....unless you like it.

Keep chanting and all of that will go away.

notice the sarcasm, but it may be true...
