(Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed, and Sloth) God spoke a lot about seven: ie: "Ge 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth" There were also seven biblical days of creation There are Seven colours in the rainbow, The opposite sides of a dice, add up to seven, There are seven orifices on the human head, There are seven fundamental notes, or modulations, of the musical scale, There are seven rare gases...
there are 8 major notes in the musical octave...but otherwise..does anyone agree that 7 is a freaky number
People have feelings about many numbers. 2. Everything comes in pairs. A cell divides into two. Two people come together in a marriage. 2 axes in 2d(sp) x and y, 2 poles, 2 genders, 2 of each limb, 2 eyes, heaven and earth, 2 nostrils, 2 political parties in the US etc etc. 3. The number three always symbolizes many, that is, more than a pair. The Christian Trinity is divided into 3. 3 is a few rather than a couple, 3 axes in 3d, 3 when the 2 have a child, 3 laws of motion, 3 laws of robotics, 3 reasons for many different causes because 3 is many and many is enough. Early man in the middle east divided the universe into heaven, earth, and water: 3. 4. 4 cardinal points on a compass, 4 weeks in a month, 4 quarts to a gallon, 4 corners of the earth, 4 quarters in a dollar, 4 limbs. Some of it is coincidence. Some of it is meaning the ancients gave these numbers that we still keep today whether we're aware of it or not. I've been told 2 and 3 are harder to avoid because we're wired to see them as a pair and more than a pair. Some languages have both a dual and a plural form. We don't in English, but we can say a couple as 2 and a few as 3 or more.
Seven is a Sun family member and is associated with Saturn and darkness. There are 7 chakras, 7 days of the week. It has three odd numbers 1 with a 3 to either side. 7 is the number of problems of adjustment. 7 is lonely and aspires for completion. - From Leela 7 is a number of the New Jerusalem second only to 12. In Revelations there are 7 churches, 7 stars, 7 angels, 7 vials, 7 seals, 7 thunders, 7 plagues, and 7 spirits of God. the lamb has 7 horns, and 7 eyes. The beast has 7 heads which are the 7 hills of the whore of Babylon. (Wasn't Rome founded on 7 hills also?) 7 is the number of things sacred and mysterious as the 7 veils of initiation. Philo said that nature delights in 7. There are 7 planets and stars in the Great bear, 7 notes, God rested on the 7th day, 7 orfifices in a man's head, a man's life follows 7 year periods. Womens' and the moon's cycles occur in 7s, 28 days to a lunar month. Pythagoreans liken 7 to the motherless ever virgin Maidan as it is not the product or factor of any other number in the decad, does not develop from any other system of porportion nor give birth to any. The 7th divison of a circle is just over 51.4 degrees and 515 is the number of the Virgin in Greek numerology. St. Augistine tells us that 7 has no gender. 3 is the first wholly odd number and 4 the first wholly even. 3 + 4 is 7, which is the Holy Ghost. The magical order is the 7 letters of the name Babalon set around a seven-pointed star, corresponding to the 7 hills of the Imperial capital and the 7 springs of the lunar center. There are 7 colors and there are 7 petals on the temple flower, the pomegranate. 7 is rarely apparent in physical nature but corresponds to the spiritual forces. The Gnostics used 7 as evidence that Christ was a spirtual force and the church a material one. 1080 is the Holy Spirit and (7 x 77)x 2 is 1078. There are 7 rows and columns in the Magic Square of Venus each of which equals 175. The number of fusion is 1746 (174.6 or 175 rounded). There were 7 wonders of the ancient world which were tied to 7 magic squares. The Temple of Mausolus was Venus. --all this from books by John Mitchell
certin numbers represent certin frequency...or rather all numbers represent certin frequency...but some are used more symbolically more often
