Scraped resin = Hash?

Europians also call cut up stems, shoe polish, and a little bit of weed compressed together, "hash". I wouldnt listen to the Europians my friend. I mean... shoe polish... *tear* thats just.. just... *tear* horrid!

I would bet money with you that I could give you a bong full of soapbar hash and you wouldn't even know the difference. You're just spouting shit you read on here to seem impressive. If you travel around Europe you'll find that in every country you'll be able to get quality stuff if you have a good connection. Also judging by your description of how soapbar is made you obviously have no idea about the process of making hash in general. Also learn to spell. It's European.

Can't really say, I don't know the kid personally. But, not many people here in the US got the time and materials to make soapbar, test it out, and compare it to other varieties they made.

 

Nobody in Europe makes it either. All the hash in Europe comes from North Africa,the Middle East & Asia. Anyone who makes there own personal stash obviously wouldn't do it. Anyway as I said, it's possible to get the quality hash from all these places aswell if you get a good connection.

It becomes a competition when people who claim to know everything about smoking disdain others who don't know as much, but enjoy smoking it all the same. I've been smoking for a very long time, but I don't hold it against people when they don't know what hash is. I was there too. Why do people who call resin 'hash' need to go educate themselves just so they don't annoy people who know better? Some people don't want to know everything about smoking, and personally, I don't see a need to. If you are smart enough to know how to smoke it or eat it and get high, why do you need to know everything else? Sure, the knowledge can be impressive, when it's used in a constructive, helping manner, rather than an "I know more than you, so ha ha ha" manner. That's when other people begin to see you as an arrogant asshole. btw, when I say 'you', I dont mean you personally, I just mean it in a general sense. I'm not saying you're that way or anything, I'm just saying that it's not necessary to know everything, so stop acting like it is.....i'm not trying to argue, cuz i hate confrontations, but I just don't think it's fair when know-it-alls think they are infinitely better than people who are less than "perfect".......

 

Don't be afraid of confrontation, just adds a little spice to your day lol . I can see what you're saying, and believe me I've burned with people who know less than most of the people here, but I don't believe it should be like that. They just know "i's gettin hai." If you're going to do something, especially drugs, you should know a pretty good amount of info about it. Also, I love the plant so I make it a point to take in as much info about it as I can, and it sort of makes you question what one's motives are if they're just willing to "get high" regardless of knowing anything about the substance. Another thing that comes to mind is like sometimes say someone blazes but doesn't really know jack about it, then they make fun of the kid who is still fooled by d.a.r.e., telling him he's an idiot or whatever, I mean, which one is worse? That's a rhetorical question btw lol I shouldn't get too off topic... Just my point of view on the topic of education and drugs.

Also as for your statement that you wouldn't listen to Europeans, I found when travelling in India/Nepal that is was the Aussies, Americans Canadians and Israelis that didn't have a clue about hash because most of them don't come into contact with it near as much. Most European smokers were much more knowledgable when it came to hash/charas/pollen. That's a generalisation I know, but it came from my observations of what I saw.

The soapbar that everyone goes on about is generally smoked by kids/teenagers in Europe who don't have a good contact or by people who are just to stupid to pay a bit more for good quality stuff.

 

lol, i don't think I'm so much afraid of confrontation as I am too lazy to deal with it . You see, I'm the same way. I love the plant, too, and I have studied and studied and researched a lot, and I really do know my shit. I'm not saying I know everything, but I sure as hell am not stupid when it comes to this subject. I agree that it does make you question they're motives are if they only want to get high, but I think even they deserve some respect, because they are at the very least ignoring insanely retarded laws (if in USA).
I don't think those people should press their luck, though, if they are trying to show off how much they know, even though they don't know anything at all. There's usually someone around who does know better, and I love watching more experienced smokers catch noobies in their vicious web of lies.
I also agree when you say that if you are going to do drugs, you should know what the hell you're doing in the first place.

Hash is the drippings of resin from the plant themselves I read that they rub it against something & it turns darker when the air hits it. I know I'm not ading anything to the thread but I'm dulled at the moment.

hash is GOOD stuff, man. i've mostly had it in europe (Holland and Spain), although i bought a gram of some really good blonde hash here in the U.S. "european" hash is generally better though.

Pot has no innate philosophy. There's no contract that says: If you smoke this, you must believe in peace, and you must be having a good time. Everything aside: Marijuana is a plant. nothing more. nothing less. There's nothing magical or peaceful about it. anything you get comes from you not the dang plant. I really am sick of people expecting everyone to "just chill out" because they smoke pot. It's a drug man! If you want someone to believe in "peace and having a good time" provide a philosophical argument, but don't base it off of a plant.

And what the hell does it matter what you call anything? In the end it's all the same stuff. (giving some leniency in regards to potency :H ) But seriously. Call it what you like, smoke what you like.

The only reason you'd need a common lingo would be if you were trying to buy something. And I doubt anyone would be out buying pipe resin. Or maybe I'm wrong. who knows?

On that note. I might go smoke a bowl or two. And maybe I won't have a good time. y'know. just to play devil's advocate...
