    *Mullein-open uncultivated land and roadsides
*Black haw-s.e. and central...menstruel pain and gyencological conditions
*Gotu Kola=Indian Pennywort-native to India and S.E. US in marshy areas and riverbanks-leprercy/fertility drug
*Black Cohoh=Black Snakeroot=Squawroot-from canada to fla-w/st.johns wort treats hot flashes and other meunstral problems
    *Lobeling=Indian tobacco-antiseptic, nicotine
*Saw Palmetto berries-in drastic need of research, hormonal properties
*Helonias=False Unicorn Root=Blazing Star=Faireweed- the medicnal (dried) roots overharvested, rarely seen anymore wild.
"The experience of Western herbalists shows helonias to be a valuable medicine for menstrual and utering problems. The presence of steroidal saponins, which stimulate the uterus, indicates that claims for helonias's helping gynecological problems could be well substantiated. However, virtually no research has taken place. One can only wonder why herbs such as ginseng, which also contain steroidal saponins, have been extensively researched and helonias has not. Could it be because the former mainly affect the male rather than the female reproductive system? Helonias is an herb that urgently needs to be reaserched."-the encyclopedia of medicinal plants".
*Blue Cohosh=Squawroot=Papoose Root-wild from Manitoba to Alabama-dried root & rhizome-wooded valleys north facing slopes damp banks-poorly researched! contains steroidal saponias-Included in Pharmacopoeia of the Us circa 1905, native american contraceptive and facilitating childbirth
    *Hawthorn berries and flowering tops-heart
*Goldenseal-rare due to overhavesting, wild in moist mountainous woodlands, prefers soil covered in leaves, lack of research but what is known is promising
    *Passionflower-sunny places-lack of research!
*Skullcap-wild near water, anxeity/stress, strong Norvine, stronger than any before yet lack of the nedded research! Cures epilepsy, hysteria, convultions, rabies, schizophrenia
    *Comfrey-lack of research again.
*Dandelion-name speaks for itself. high potassium, diuretic/detoxify-lack of research. One of the most effective detoxifying herbs.
*Slippery Elm Bark=Money Tree, appalachia, ingrediant in Essiac tea.
*Champbark-woodlands hedges and thickets-recognized by US National Formulary as sedative for nervious condition

See here how everything led up to this day,
And it's just like any other day that's ever been.
Sun going up and then the sun going down.
    Come around, come around.

The people might know, but the people don't care,
That a man can be as poor as me.
Take a look at poor Peter, he's lying in pain,
Now let's come run and see, run and see,
Run and see, run, run and see, and see.
