My papa called me today, and we had a real conversation! Normally when he calls, we talk for a couple minutes, have an awkward silence, another vague attempt at conversing and then say our goodbyes. We actually talked about stuff, like cooking and relationships and work, and how he apparently wants a vasectomy (at least according to his fiancee lol) aaah, what made your day brighten up today?
according to his fiancee he wants a vasectomy does that mean she told you he wants it or she told him he wants it
she told him he wants it whatever, they're both in their early 40's, neither wants another kid now and it's usually a really quick, problem-free surgery
i havent had a proper conversation with either of my parents in a long time. they're not capable , gonna have to chuck them in the home soon. what brightened my day? uhmmm i ate some chocolate. i think that was the highlight for me. im counting down the days till all hell is back.
well, going out and having all you can eat pizza and wings was fantastic...then the phone conversation i just had made me really happy, until my phone died
I had a great night with a friend I haven't seen in more then a half a year!!!! I also have a bad relationship with my dad, so I can relate. That is great things went well
woooohoooooooo that's awesome!!!! My grandpa and I have gotten like that latley I mean we'll talk for like an hour where before it was like 'hi grandad' 'hi sugar' 'can i please speak to grandma' 'sure' thanks bye love you' hah now he ASKS ME about work and school and treats me like an adult and has actually asked to see my webpage and buys the paper whenever I have an article in it. Where before it was like I was 10 and we would have child like conversations and he would give me money and that was it. He doesn't give me money unless it's a holiday or I'm sick anymore, which is really nice. I just feel like he finally resepcts me and the life I have chose to live and respects me not getting married before and has stopped invited my ex fiance over to try and get us back together. it's really nice.
me too! It's not that I have a bad relationship with him, just a sporadic one lol. I love him to bits, and I know he loves me, we're both just really awful and picking up the phone. Speaking of, I should call my stepdad this week to go out for coffee with him, I haven't seen him in a while either (at least my stepdad lives within 10minutes of town, my dad lives two hours away) Aww, lyns that's great! My grandpa always answers the phone n I ask for my grandma, he always says that I sure sound good-looking He's a sweetie even if we don't talk much
my grandpa always asks if ive gotten taller lol and sad thing is i have over the past year lol. my grandpa i don't think has ever told me or Brit or my mom that we are good looking he tells us we're smart, polite what have you but i don't know why I don't recall him ever telling me i was pretty. my grandma on the other hand gushes about me and makes me turn around and says i look like just like ' a movie star and so stylish and how i am lucky i got her genes lol' she is one hot grandma.
