Some pics are webcam pics, so they are dark, sorry! A friend and I. It's funny how we met, I was panhandling and he stopped and offered to take me to dinner. We talked for hours after that, and I was shocked to find out he wasn't trying to get in bed with me! We've been friends ever since. He's a lovely person, and I'm very glad he stopped to talk with me. Me in my niqab, shortly before I got divorced. After I was divorced I finally decided to take it off. I felt so naked for a long time after that. That's it for now, if you want to see more, I have so many on my website and journal. (http://cenobitepinhead.livejournal.com) My journal has a link to my website. Hope I didn't break anyones eyes, >.<
nice to meet you. i live 2 hours west from where you are. what's it like on the streets? you must know your way around downtown ottawa. what a pretty girl!
Man Im gonna sound stupid (not the first time and likely not the last) Do you choose to live your life as you do or becuase the situation has put you in that way? Sorry to hear of the divorce, life kinda sucks when what you had hopped for kinda fizzles. Cool Pics man, love to hear about ppls lives, mine is a wondering one, I drive all over the US and Canada, just all over. Take care...
Why do you wear a "niqab?" You're hiding your beauty Show everyone what you look like. Drive the men wild, hiding in that "niqab" is wasting your looks.
Honey, you're so beautiful! You've got the most beautiful eyes! Welcome on the hip forums, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here!
Thanks everyone. To answer you questions; living on the streets in Ottawa is quite wonderful really, everyone is very frienddly and welcoming. Food is easy to find. (I'm always getting food given to me) And many people offer to let me stay over for a night or two when it's very cold out. (For non-Canadians it's winter here.) As for why I'm on the street. Normally being gypsies the majority of my family is nomadic or has been at some point. Although at the present time I have no choice but to live on the street as I have no citizenship in Canada, therefore no acess to money or residency. In May I'll finally have my citizenship and be able to get a disablilty pension. When that hits I may get an apartment for a bit. I love moving around though, so it may not be for long. And why I wore the Niqab? At the time it was a belief that I held strongly. The whole reason people wear it in the first place is to show others that the reason you love/like a person should not be for looks, but what is inside you. I still hold to these words kind of, but I don't wear it anymore, my ideas have somewhat changed, I love expressing anything artistic and cultural and I wear the traditional clothes passed down by my family. I find the gypsy culture very artistic, and am proud to be one, so I wear my familys clothes with pride.
