Whats the best/easiest way to make cakes with weed (not hash, I dont touch that stuff in England). Is it as simple as mixing a load of ground up weed in to your cake mix and then popping it in the oven for as long as it takes ? If this is the case, how much weed would you usuall put in to your mix, for say every 10 cakes ? Cheers
You should first saute the ganja in oil/butter at least. A much tastier alternative is to use butter to extract the THC from the weed then throw the weed away and use the cannabutter for any reciepe you wish.
And whats the best way to extract the THC using butter or oil ? Would just putting ground up weed in a cake mix be a waste ? And can you recommend a good book for marijuana cooking ? Its something im interested in getting in to.
your best bet is melting a stick of butter to every 1/8th of bud.... take a sauce pan... melt your butter add about a tablespoon of water... add bud.... let simmer for 2-3hrs... do not let the butter/oil go over 180degrees(actually try and keep the temp at 180)... otherwise you will start to burn the thc away.. and have less potent butter/oil... i made 2 sticks of butter for 40+ cookies and 1 cookie would give me a pretty damn good buzz... enjoy
http://recipes.marijuana.com/cooking101.php Marijuana.com Recipes this will tell you all you need to know abd gives some sweet recipes too
oops... i forgot to add... when you are done cooking your cannabutter/oil... make sure to use cheese cloth to strain the butter out of the leafy matter...
http://www.cannabisculture.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=433486 There's over a hundred recipes there. Start with any of the butter recipes and then use it like you would use butter in any recipe.
actualy you dun need to look up recipes... you jsut gotta know the chemistry of it all. weed only dissolves into fats, so you can use any recipe that has a fat ingredient. whipping cream.. coffee cream, butter, oils, the list goes on. cheese sauce would make some pretty sweet nachos
