So I have these spider leg looking dreads and all this funny fuzzy loose hair stickin out from behind em all the time... Just figured I would share a pic so no one gets discouraged if all of their hair doesnt lock up at the same time, I have had mine for a year now and I still don't have it all locked, It is slowly getting there tho

almost a year =) on the left side of the pic, you see the poof of hair that is almost white?? It just doesnt lock LOL it reminds me of the scientist from back to the future HAHA

I love your dreads! My dreads look thin like that, mostly because a medication that I was on this summer made some of my hair fall out. But I am off it and the hairs came back a lot! I don't think my dreads will ever be super thick but I enjoy them just the way they are. Did you bleach the ends blonde or did the pink dye come off? I was wondering if the pink hair dye is permanent or not. I would really like the permanent pink dye, if it is made. Perhaps I will dye it after summer classes begin in July. I have always liked pink hair and seeing yours convinced me that dreads would look good dyed a bright color! Peace & love
i havent found anything permanent, just semi permanent. i like my dreads skinny, if they were all phat my hair is so short i think it would make me look like i had a weird small head
i've got loose hair in the same plaqce so no fear my dear. and mine are over 2 years old now i like it cos it reminds me what brushed hair feels like
i think thats the main reason i dont mind the loose hairs. It reminds me of how my hair was when I brushed it. and it adds different textures to my hair i guess you could say haha because the unknotted hair is all silky smoothe haha and the dreads are rough kind of and not really silky haha. peace~
yea i get sooo many loose hairs and they used to bother me but now i figure hey one of the reasons i knotted it up is becuse i no longer need to worry about how my hair looks...just let it do its thang. sometimes i take the frizz from all over and like my hand around my head and get it all on a little ball and try and shove it trhough another dread if i can find one with any space at the root and let it knot its way into another dreadie....not sure i explained that in a way that you will comprehend sorry lol.
the closest to permanent unnatural color hair dye there is, is the stuff made by Special Effects. Lasts way way longer than Manic Panic or any of the others. I bleached stripes and dyed my hair with their Deep Purple back in September, and it has since faded to a bright dark pink color with just a hint of purple in some light. Seems the blue wears out first....
I have far too many loose hairs. And dreads mingling with one another. I would just suggest threading with a floss threader or keeping the mad scientist look. Your hair looks nice.
