    fascinating... :p I saw washable pads @ a local 'hippie' store... don't know if I'm all that keen about that.

    i really hope those pad compaines pay attention and get their asses in gear. hopefully most of them will be like that soon!

    I do not have that much knoledge in this field of expertise but I would probubly guess its cheaper to make them out of non biodegradable materials and since a lot of people don't care about where their janky ass trash goes the said companies probubly wont change their materials for quite a while.

    well thats my two bits i'll step down from my soap box now.

    Yeah I would agree. But there are a lot of people (although nothing close to a majority) that would use them, and even pay the extra for them. Just likse Bert's Bees and Tom's of Maine stuff.
