How is cancun, travel wise, since the hurricane? I found a cheap trip for 2 to Cancun, Mexico but my better/smarter/hotter/hairier half said it's probably cheap because of the hurricanes. We totally had it all worked out, and i was shitting my pants to just up and leave in a week and a half, until he read some stuff about how many hotels in Cancun are still under construction and rebuilding after the hurricane....does anyone know any specifics?
yeah fuck that.. go to cancun, NEVER stay.its fucking disney land without cartoon characters and spiked drinks.ha... go to cancun, but quickly jump on a bus and go down the coast.. or if you wanna check chichen itza n merida first do that..but palease, dont throw your money into the disgusting place known an cancun....even playa del carmen would be a 1000 times better..unless youre lookin for the highschoolspringbreakexperienceofalifetime!!!! haha.. i doubt you are..go down to some cabanas nearer to tulum or something... or all the way down to guat n belice..whoot...love it darlin if you get to go... i've been to cancun (long time ago...so no current hurricane info) but i wouldn't go back. to me, it was like a spanish speaking panama city (florida). very touristy the beaches were very beautiful, but it was mostly a bunch of drunk americans & not what i was looking to experience....who knows though, maybe there's an off-season?
my aunt and I are planning to take a trip for a lot of my family, about 8 members, to Cancun in '07. Do you guys think it would be possible to mail myself some pot to the hotel room we're gonna reserve? Also, I don't drink, at all, so when we get there, what kind of stuff can a non-drinker do?
good thiink to do as a compromise: go to playa del carmen: 30 mi south of cancun (witch is the worst place ive ever seen) it has beaches to die for and only a few drunken american, few good bars and calm...
