Can you quit your job and become self employed? That's what I finally did. i hated every job I ever had, and finally got the feeling: "I must escape, or die." I used it as motivation to stay home and earn money, and have been doing it for 18 years now. I also took prednisone for a while, but had to get off of it. It can have a lot of bad side effects. I'm just taking 20 mg a day for 7 days until my throat un swells it's been swollen since about july. Yeah I could become self employed and make more than I do now but I don't have the energy to do what I would be qualified to do.

I am a freelance writer and conference speaker...that does not bring in a lot of money. WHen I worked freelance as a behavioralist for children with autism I made 50 an hour so if I were to have the energy that would be what I would freelance in primarily. I did not like it and I won't have that kind of energy for another year as 4 hours at a time is needed to really break down barriers and have the taught social norms retained. Most of my writting and speaking jobs are for non-profits so they are very low paying. I had a contract last spring to be paid 250 an hour to teach parenting classes but the program lost it's funding. I am going for my MFT and my last 2 classes in my BA right now ao in a year I will have an MA in psychology with a licensure in Marraige and family therapy after that I want to tranfer to alliant and get a phd or a psy d in clinical psychology and then I will be in a position to work for myself. But I need to have the education behind me and I do need a few more years of real work experience before I work for myself and I hated behavioral tutoring so I do not want to do that again even though Iit could be lucrative and I am my own boss...just tireing. i dont see whats wrong with it, it's in your best interests to stay away anyway, those masks are not 100% fool proof. you can still catch diseases even when wearing one. law suit? the only thing that pisses me off more than employees being treated unfairly is employees sueing for piss weak reasons in order to take advantage of the company and get some money.
