I got a summer job working as an interpreter at the Ukrainian Village

I get to dress-up, and act as a turn-of-the-century Ukrainian settler in Alberta and stuff I am so happy now

I can't wait to get my costume, those old clothes are going to rule :H

no antoine, i dont cause i have to talk to the visitors--but i will have to learn how to do the accent for speaking in english (unless i play one of the few non-ukrainian characters)

 

and i can't wait to see you in that costume! i wonder which color it would be?

Well me personally, I'm not THAT Ukrainian as compared to some of my cousins. My mom comes from an American family (and far back enough Sweedish) so I didn't get that extra push maternaly for the Ukrainian culture. That being said, it is still the ancestral culture I most strongly identify with...
