Hey, going to damn in 4 days. Need to know what are some musts to bring from the states. If I wear a north face jacket or if I wear polo or lacoste is that too American? I am not saying I am trying to hide being American but I am sure not trying to stick out in a crowd. But like I said what are some necessities that I should bring...and not to sure on the weather over there? It has been a very warm winter in the states but I am not sure how the weather is gonna be over in dam....it says high 40's is that about right for the beginning of march?

    Thanks yall,
    Jordan

It's around 0 degrees celcius, maybe some snow, but in the city snow will disappear very fast.

i always take an extra lighter, extra papers and extra cigs and leave them in my room. That way when I stagger home at the end of the night I never have to stagger back out to get me some tackle for my bed time spliff.

are you going to adopt somekind of different accent as well as your clothes.
Dont worry about the labels just bring lots of warm jerseys and woolies as the whole of western europe is being frozen by an icy blast from the north at the moment.

Have a large Canadian flag stitched onto your clothing in the way Canuks backpackers do, so they are not mistaken for American and thus don't suffer funny jokes about your clever chosen leader and that invasion of that country, oh what's it called?....some middle east place anyway....where they have those camels....yes Camel-land, that's it.

    Not to change the subject...

Sure do wish that Grey Area website would become active again sometime in the near future.

    What's it been? A year?!!!

from what I remember, coffeeshops were catching legal flack because of there websites. Apparently one part of the decriminalization agreement is that they aren't allowed to advertise and the websites have recently been targeted as a form of advertisement....

In this day and age that IS, unfortunately, the norm. To be "F'd" with by the legalities that is.

The true "legalities" of the matter, at this point, only involve advertising menus and actual "illegal" (but tolerated) substances. And some even seem to get away with that.

All of the Coffeeshops below have had their sites up for a LONG time now and uninterrupted due to any legalities. Hopefully the Webmiester at greyarea.nl will get his/her shit together soon.
