lol not for myself I am male, and I admit I do like larger boobs on a woman. I'm not talking eye-opening bigger the Double D tits, but boobs from size A all the way up to DD. I looked on the net and could only find ONE site that had pics, and those weren't the greatest - I was hoping someone could help. I'm just curious "just how big" C cup boobs are compared to B cup boobs. Also, do the boobs get bigger the higher the number? For example, my girlfriend says she has "36 C" and I was told by someone else that that's pretty damn big. Is that true, when you compare boobs? I realize A is small, and B is average... is C "above average" and then D "huge?" I need details, and I figure the people to go to are the ones who have 'em
Why do you NEED details about breasts? Ask this question in the sex forums or something dude, This really isn't the place. Mabye if you actually read some of the threads in here you would realise how insensitive you are. Ask your MOTHER if you are that desperate to know and you see no disrespect in the question. And she did FEED YOU with them.
Thanks for the nonsense. I might feel embarassed if I came in here and said "hey, I want to fuck some tits, girls what do you think?" but I'm asking about BREAST SIZES to get lost if you have nothing to contribute. Yes, I'm so insensitive asking about boobs. omg *rolls eyes*
while A is smaller than B, and so on, there are some other factors. For example, a 36C. The 36 refers to the length around the rib cage... and the C has to do with the lenght going around from the fullest part of the boob, around the rib cage and back. The determination of cup size has to do with the difference between the "rib cage" number and the "around the boob" number. That being said... a 36C is a pretty average size, although on the larger size of average. The sizes go AA, A, B, C, D, DD, E, and on. Keep in mind that band lenght does factor in.... as a girl with a 40A breasts might actually appear to have larger breasts than a 34C.
Hrm, interesting. Yeah, I recently bought my girlfriend some lingerie and was just amazed at all the different bra's and panties (don't worry, I'm not gay, but it interests me lol). Once I found out she was 36C it was easier to spot ones I liked, but I was still curious. The B and C didn't look ALL that different, but I supposed they are because they support the breasts. btw, thanks for the serious answer, icedteapriestess.
most women in the US wear a c cup. The number 36,38,40 refers to the band size (which is the average of the ribcage measurement and the circumference around the upper part of the chest, directly beneath the armpits) and does not refer to the size of the breasts themselves. Most women in the US do not wear the correct size, but rather just purchase something off the rack, thinking that is what fits them. An A cup is when the breast measurement at the nipples is one inch larger than the band size. B cup is two inches, C = 3, etc. So an A cup is always an A cup, regardless of the band size. Some bra manufacturers make different cups for the different band sizes, many do not. Some bra manufacturers have a different formula for calculating size, too. Confused yet? Here's another tidbit, most women should probably be wearing a larger cup and a smaller band size than what they think they wear, but it's really hard to get decent sizing information in department stores and lingerie places, they would much rather sell you what they have in stock than tell you what your correct bra size is. and here's that website you wanted to see... http://www.007b.com/breast_gallery.php They are just breasts, we all have them.
We do?!?! Ah, thanks. Yeah, I've seen that one... it's a very interesting site. The reason I posted is I didn't see anything that showed the sizes and compared them... ie "This is a A cup breast," "This is a B cup breast," etc. Though I have to hand it to the 52 year old chick in those pics, she has a really nice chest Thanks again, Mamaboogie.
The cup size is the difference between the BAND size and the size at the middle of the breast, taken with a tape measure. A womyn with a 40 inch band is going to have different size breasts with a C cup, than a womyn with a 32 inch band and a C cup. It is about 2 inches difference for an A, three for a B, four for a C ect. So, the cup size is relevant to the band size, so womyn are buying bras which are appropirate to their own body sizes. There is no "standard" size, or weight for a D cup breast, just the fact that the womyn who wears one has about a five inch difference between her band size (taken UNDER the breasts, over the rib cage, while breathing normally) no matter what her band size is. A womyn with a 32 C has smaller breasts than a womyn with 44 C bra.
and you're 19.... I felt the same way at your age. Mostly it was because I had never ever owned a bra that fit properly, and partly because at 19, women just don't need to wear bras!! It's better for your breast tissue to not be constrained, especially by an ill-fitted bra, anyway.
Mhmm, I agree. I don't understand it, when girls my age, feel that they need to wear a bra 24/7....when picking out a dress for a certain occassion, I always hear this "oh but what the hell kind of bra will I wear with that? It's a strapless dress!"--So you can't go 8 hours without wearing a bra?! I don't get it. All my girl friends are always so worried about their nipples showing through a shirt....and personally, I just don't understand what is so bad about that in the first place.
I agree. I don't wear too many padded bras, and throughout high school, my nipples would show throw our school uniform shirts. They were white shirts on top of that. Most of the time, I just didn't care. But when it was chilly, I did what I could to make them less obvious. I find that heavy padded bras can make my breasts itchy, or at least a bit uncomfortable around the nipple or whatever. I have no problems indiscretely giving them a good scratch when they are itchy. Sometimes in class I'll have to pretend that I'm itching my ear with my thumb, but I'll itch my breast with my elbow. It's important to wear a proper bra while running, doing sports and such. Studies have shown that the less they bounce up and down, they lose less elasticity. (That's a bad choice of a word - they lose... you know, tissue strength)
a well fit and constructed bra is key in comfort for a larger breasted woman. it can save you a lot of shoulder agony and upper back & neck pain. i personally prefer to get a bra with the band a little tight, which prevents ride-up. i don't care what anyone says about how you adjust your straps, if your boobs are big, you're gonna get ride up in the back. anyway, i posted this elsewhere, but the general measuring for bras is: measure around your ribcage just under your breast, this is the number in your bra size. now, add 5" to this number. Then measure around the largest area of your breasts. if this number is an additional inch above your ribacage measurement (+ five inches), then you're an a cup. 2 inches more is b cup. and so forth.
if the band rides up in the back, that means you probably need a larger cup size. It doesn't matter how tight you adjust the straps or the band if the cup doesn't fit. Here's another little tidbit, if your bra doesn't sit tight up to your chestbone between your breasts, your cup size is probably too small. your bra should not dig in to your flesh anywhere. If you have red welts in your skin when you take your bra off, it doesn't fit right.
that is partially true, about the cup size. if your breast are swelling over your cups as then sit on your skin, then it's a little too small. but too many women buy band sizes that are too large for them. if you're one of those women who are between sizes, like 35-1/2", depending upon the bra, you may have to choose between a little too small and a little too big. i say go smaller, the band WILL strech a bit to accomodate you and will provide proper foundation for the shoulder straps and cup to work. if you go too big it' snot gonna shrink to fit.
Thank you, KC, I forgot the 5 inches when I posted the cup thing. Thank you. My 19 dd said she was freaked out once, when she did that "pull your bra through your armhole of your shirt" way to take it off, when she was at a slumber party once. The girls were all like "Wow, where did you learn how to do that?" She said she was amazed that the other girls moms never taught them how to remove a bra, without taking off your shirt. She thinks that a mother's duty, to teach things like that. I taught she and Moon how to do that as soon as they started wearing bras. Considering, mine usually ends up on the staircase within a couple of hours of my putting it on. When we go to parties, I take it off, through my armhole IN the car. Can't stand wearing them.
i used to be a bra fitter. you would not believe some of the bras i've seen on women. it's nightmarish. and sometimes it was really hard to not laugh. and i couldn't believe how many women were determined to stay in the same size bra they were in in high school. not only does your size change, but your shape and needs change. people get so strange about it. the only person who didnt' gie me hell about the bras i brought for them to try was a guy going through a sex-change & had just had some boobs put in and this was his first bra. i tought him the arm hole thing, too. he'd always thought that was neat. that was a fun customer.
I have so much trouble with bra size. I wish I could just get up the guts to go and get fitted for my proper size, but I know my face will get really red if I let anyone measure my chest area. I'm self conscious about my boobs because they are too small for my frame. I've followed every bra-fitting advice I can find on the web and I never seem to be able to find the right size... if I get the size that, according to these directions, is supposed to fit, it's either too big or too small or cuts into the fat on my back or slides up over my boobs. I don't know if I am just a bra-fitting retard or if this difficulty has something to do with the fact that I have a larger than normal ribcage with smaller than normal boobs.
I just don't wear bras. I don't see the point. My breasts aren't large. Hell, for my size, they're small. They naturally sag just a bit, but I don't really care. Who am I going to impress? As far as the bra-through-the-shirt thing, even I know that one! I taught myself, for those occasions when I would be wearing a bra and wanted to take it off without being inconspicuous. But I also took it a step further. I can change my shirt and my pants under the shirt or pants I'm already wearing. Who needs a bathroom to change?
