It is publicly subsidized, and will end up privately profited by a few.

If society is willing to pay for research than it should be willing to pay for production too not just give it away to some private interests.

The private sector is not willing to risk so they shouldn't be able to profit from public research.

I am not opposed to the public funding it but I opposed to how everything ends up in a few hands to profit from it. If it is publicly funded and subsidized than all technologies and research done by it should remain public and none-profit.

The public funds research efforts at universities through massive scientific grants. On the other hand, the fruits of that research end up being privately profited. This is unfair, and unethical.

Does Microsoft hand it's research to other companies to profit and create production? No, so why should the public?

So much of what we hear about NASA is pure, unadulterated lies. We are told the study of space will benefit humans, which is a lie. NASA has nothing to do with bettering human lives or educating people about space. I believe upwards of 86% of NASA's work is classified.

It's all about the Illuminati's colonization of space (in terms of weapons systems and otherwise), in which NASA is their tool.

Billions of taxpayer dollars are being spent to help the Elites not only control the entire planet, but the space surrounding it as well. Like always, it's sold to the public as something totally different than its purpose really is. We are sold a false illusion about what NASA really is and what its goals are, which keeps the public willing to shell out money to keep the program going. If it wasn't sold to the public in an idealistic light, people would not be for it.

How many people even know the history of NASA, that it was founded by a bunch of Nazis? These Nazis came in the form of scientists who were illegally shipped into the country after WW II by the CIA (on behalf of Allen Dulles) as part of Project Paperclip. That's right, the U.S. gave these people - many of whom were still devout Nazis (among them was angel of death, Joseph Mengele) - refuge in the United States, and they have played a major role in America's buildup of power over the past 50 yrs.

There is technology that the shadow government of the Global Elite possesses that is literally many decades beyond what we know currently, and is being kept from the public, so all this talk about space exploration and its benefit to humanity is a crock of shit. It's to the benefit of nobody but them.

NASA once asked congress for $50 million in funds to be able to track and map all near-earth objects.

    Congress refused

There's a line in the movie Deep Impact where one of NASA men says in response to why they couldn't detect it was because they don't get enough funding

How much did Deep Impact cost to make? Near $100 million

There was already a thread on this actually to anyone who thinks NASA is pointless.

Well, unless you have my social studies teacher. :p

Nobody wants to speak out though, the majourity are concerned with America's pride and the owning of outer space.

Perhaps most of us our just interested in an unlimited pool of science to be learned from space.

I really don't like how everything is classified from the public under the disguise of security but declassified instantly for corporations and private interest groups to profit from publicly funded research and discoveries.

All the technologies discovered by NASA should be freely available to public companies to produce because the research is already paid for by taxpayers. The private sector should have no say at all because it wasn't their money that funded the research.

Nevertheless, I do not oppose the concept of NASA. I just oppose how it operates, functions, and who ends up profiting.

i thought that mengele was caught in brazil, that the nazi was warner von braun, who btw had a children's show produced by walt disney. He is prolly working for the illuminati too, and when disney-land seceeds he'll be unfrozen to lead his genetically modified supersoldiers to cleanse the land of unbelievers...
