Same intensity of a trip, different amount eaten

Ok so last night I had 2 eigths of shrooms for me and three friends. This was about my 4th time on shrooms and it was all their first. I had a full eigth and they all split the other eigth but it seemed like they were having the same, if not more, intense of a trip than I was. We were all explaining stuff the same way and we all ended at like exactly the same time. So my question is this; is the intesnity of a trip affected by who is around you, tripping with you?

 

Your immediate environment has a great impact on the mood of the trip yes...

However intensity can be effected by mindset, your physical structure, experience...

But the actual chemistry acting on your brain wouldn't be affected by your environment i wouldn't think...

 

Well, it was their first time, so it may seem more intense to them.
But it doesnt make sense that they'd be feeling it that much doing just over a gram each compared to your 3.5

 

1st timers will get completely fucked up. It probably was more intense for them just because they had no clue what was goin on. they never done them before unlike you. you've had some experience with them.
