I just wanna lay naked out in the rain for a few hours.

I just wanna lay in the cool dirt garden while the sun bakes my other side.

I just want to be cozy.

Anyone feel like this? What do you do when you get the winter blues?

Where are you from? I mean, is winter bad there?

Where I'm from winters are long and at least somewhat rough. NOT this winter though. Mixed blessing. I seriously love snow, but have been screwed out of most of it all winter.

So---yesterday and today, earliest ever, I got in some very unusual March barefooting in SOME snow in Maine. It works when temps are nearing 40 and the sun is out, and if you aren't working on the shady side of anything. Also, in the sunny spots, there is some bare ground showing, so it's not like you're stuck bf in snow only. It's still winter in the shade for sure. So , a month early, I'm enjoying some of that delicious spring snow barefooting I've mentioned here before, which usually happens in April. I'm lucky that I work outdoors, AND that I can pick where I will work. Obviously, the dark shady places will need to be worked in eventually, but they can wait till a cloudy day, when it doesn't matter, or if winter returns late in the month, which it will.

For now, I think most of us in Maine are enjoying seeing this non-winter begin to break up and go bye-bye.

It hasn't rained here in over a hundred days! Even the prickly pear cacti are turning purple due to the drought.

I love a good rainstorm, just right for getting your feet wet. Heavy rains are a good excuse to go barefoot. If anyone asks why I'm barefoot I say my feet got wet and had to take my shoes and socks off!

shoes in the rain = wet shoes, wet socks, cold feet, cold body

barefeet = dry fast once inside no fungus no funk

I'm from Maine, too, and we've definetly hit a big non-winter kinda winter. We've still got spots of snow but it doesn't bother my feet much!

When it's like this, those few spots of snow feel good to me!

im from new brunswick (canada) and the winters can get bad here. But i think it is quite a good thing. you can go out for walks that just seem to clear your body of all the nasty things, much like walking around nude in the summer does for me. But ifi feel the absaloute need to go nude in the winter, i just put on a nice fire in my house and get a good book and lay down on my bed or couch and chill out.
