dubya. Under his watch: we lost the twin towers (while America was under attack he was reading My Little Goat), the cut in freedom (the opposite-named patriot act), 2 wars, both going badly and 1 teetering on the brink of civil war (thanks to us), the permitting of torture of Iraqi citizens, a hands-off approach to shiitte death squads, the illegal detention of over 500 people at Gitmo, secretely spying on U.S. citizens without a court order, massive corruption (delay, libby, ambramoff et al), massive incompetence (FEMA), selling U.S. ports to a country whose gov't is composed of 7 dictators, and now we see the complete, some would say criminal disregard for Americans displayed by dubya just before Katrina hit. In case you forgot, dubya was on vacation when Katrina hit. Did he rush to The White House and use his authority/power as The President Of The United States to get things done? Heck no. He wasn't about to cut his month-long vacation short by 3 days no way Jose. He stayed on vacation. I wish there was a way, right now, to get rid of the entire administration. Kick 'em all the hell out.
now wanting to sell our naitinal forests ,will not release info that should legaly be accessed by the public,ect........................................................................................................it blows my mind! that a president can be impeachd for lying about geting his dick sucked and this man is still in office! it appears to me he will do every thing he can to completing his mission of compromising the integrity of the amarican pepole to the point of perpetual conflict world wide to enrich the pupettears that have no boarders! the begining of the end of a great nation that could halve spread peace throughout the world hopfuly not completly destroyed!
spying on US citizens without court orders is as old as the FBI Bush was not around, the issues with other countries and torture and such again well before even Jimmy Carter was president. Our goverment takes on issues just like the press. When it fits their needs they will do something about it. Bush is just another puppet in the log line of games played on us.
Probably because of what FDR once said: "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can be sure it was planned that way." So much of what we consider incompetence from our leaders is, in fact, intentional. Like I have said, there is indeed a method to the madness. It's so easy to pass everything off as simple incompetence, without asking the hard questions not touched by the media. I don't believe for a second that 9/11 was a mere intelligence failure, just like I don't believe that the Katrina mishap was a matter of simple incompetence. The government stands so much to gain from incidents like this, and to pass it all off as incompetence, I feel, is letting the bastards off far too easily. The reason Bush hasn't been impeached yet is because he is serving far too valuable of a job to his Elite handlers. The people who really run things in the country could not care less about American citizens, in which they see as cattle. Under Bush, the globalist agenda has advanced leaps and bounds. Only if Bush was doing some GOOD for this country would he be impeached. Bush is the best tool the Elite have. He is stupid, and is willing to do whatever he is told at the expense of you and me. Nice people, huh?
"I don't believe that the Katrina mishap was a matter of simple incompetence." -Do you mean you think the weather was manipulated (as I read somewhere) or the response or lack thereof? And what purpose would either flooding New Orleans or the mishandling of the evacuation/rescue/Superdome serve? It certainly makes bushco and jr himself look bad (as it should). The video released a few days ago shows dubya either lying (We're ready i.e. Bring it on) and /or completely out of touch with reality.
I can think of lots of potential reasons it would be beneficial to them. a) get rid of some of the poor b) an excuse to hike oil prices c) a convenient diversion from other issues I kinda think it was some sick test to see how easily large thriving areas could be crippled. Think about it, even with warning and full knowledge of what could happen, people chose not to believe the worst. Then when the worst happened, no help came, and no one really did anything about it. A world-class city can effectively be reduced to a third-world district and the rest of the country will watch on the TV while they die. Those who did help, weren't enough. I'd say that's something that the US gov. would like to know. I'd say they've done a pretty good job of desensitzing, dumbing down and detaching the people from reality. And, come on, no one thinks the government made that Hurricane, why would you even ask that? But just because they didn't create it doesn't mean they can't use it to their advantage.
Let us take a look at these individually. This is only Bush's fault if you buy into the conspiracy theory that he intentionally let it. I don't, and as such, I don't see how you can possibly blame bush. Thats like blaming Carter for letting American citizens get held hostage for over a year. , Fair enough. 2 wars. one not going badly..afghanistan. teetering on the brink of civil war (thanks to THEM), and a lust for violence that seems so ever presence in the muslim world. Gitmo is fair enough to blame Bush for, although it HAS probably done good in the war on terror. I also believe that secret wiretaps...as proposed and carried out by Bush is a problem. Not in their current state, but more so because Bush didn't have the forsight to see the possibilities of future abuse of such an order. Yeah. its probably Bush's fault that citizens of New Orleans were shooting at rescuse helicopters also. fucking opportunism. Hindsight is alsways twenty/twenty. The fact is that Bush felt FEMA was ready for the situation, it wasn't, and that NOONE expected the extent of the damage. . Frankly, I suspect that your dislike for Bush is causing your lack of rational thought on many of the subjects.
As far as Katrina.... First of all, the technology does exist to manipulate and control the weather. This is a simple matter of fact. However, I do not believe this was the cause of Katrina, and since I have no evidence to prove that it was, I am not going to even go there right now. There are dozens of eyewitnesses who claimed that the levees were blown, which I do not doubt. Still, I don't focus on that because, aside from eyewitness and earwitness accounts, I have no proof to say either way. Here is what I will say, which evidence fully supports: The crisis created in New Orleans was created by design. I do not believe that it was simply a matter of mere negligence. We know that FEMA cut communications between federal and local authorities, and we know that emergency aid was prevented from entering the city until days after the hurricane had passed, well after chaos ensued and public outcry became overwhelming. The government needed to create the crisis needed to declare martial law (order out of chaos). This also set the precedent for what Bush would later describe as "increased military intervention in future crises" (problem-reaction-solution). Hurricane Katrina also served as a massive social experiment, to see how people in urban areas would react in such desperate situations. It was a pretext for what's to come when the economy collapses following a massive, wide-scale "terrorist" event.
I think we all need to have a VOMIT-IN on the White House lawn. Just bring a picture of W and stare at it until you get sick at all he has done and all has not done and deliver a message. I want near the "Keep Off Grass" sign.
