Honestly, he's very cool about it and even encourages me to use the card if we are low on cash, and then we pay it back the next bill. He never makes me feel guilty about it. We both contribute financially so no big deal. Of course neither of us tend to buy things frivolously too often. I have a checking account that all of our money goes to. From there we pay bills and send some to a savings account that we don't touch. What is left is mine to play with. He usually only buys things online and uses paypal to pay. Occasionally he will charge something, but we always pay it off when the bill comes. I never feel guilty about buying something fun for myself. You have to have that occasionally or you will just get frustrated.
I don't know why I felt so guilty. I wasn't working because I went to school and we never got any time together when I was doing both but we were fine financially with me not and he sure bought his toys and would encourage me to shop I just always felt bad. I do with my mom too like if we're out clothes shopping I'll pretend I don't like something because I know she won't let me buy it with my own money, same with my grandma ect...I'm just a weirdo I guess.
