What's the porpouse of war???

One of the biggest quetions i've ever asked myself is, why do we have to do war???
You know, as long as there live people, like some of people i know, who think that war is acctualy COOL, there won't be any chance for peace. They think it's cool shooting someone with a AK in the head (influence of TV and Computer games) Then they sourport this fucked up regime.
Dont americans understand that Bush is a fuckd coward? Sending other people to fight for HIS thing? HE should be the first one putting his foot on iraq ground!
Why do people have to kill each other? we have enaugh room in our countrys, america has enaugh oil, and there werent any nuclears in Iraq.
Slovenia has also a few soldiers in iraq. WHAT THE FUCK HAVE WE LOST THERE?????????????? What the fuck has US lost there????? I dont see how our politicans can say that NATO is helping us! We have to die for a fucker sitting in his nice chair in the white house.THAT'S WHATS WRONG! It makes me feel sick when i look at Iraq people dying for nothing & people dying in Americans prisions. And yeah, i also feel sorry for americans who dyed there without reason.

It sucks, so why fight it???

 

I personally support the war, I'd rather have a sane leader in Iraq as opposed to Saddam. I wouldn't agree with this war if there was a draft, but if these people want to volunteer so America can be safer in the future, than good for them. I don't want to go overseas, but I volunteer my time, and life in the US protecting other peoples lives. Every leader is like that, you can't single out Bush, What current leader is on the front lines of his battles? This war has nothing to do with immigrants, and even if there was room, it still hurts the economy because they take jobs from other people. America doesn't really have enough oil, especially with people complaining about Alaska drilling.

 

No leader is on the front line, and yeah i cant single out bush but he STARTED this war.. wyh doesnt america pick on korea or China for example? The regimes over there arent better than iraq, but they don't have any OIL over there..there arent any other 'reasons' for this war like oil. Still, oil doeant excuse the killings of people. Why do u support this war? What do you get out of it? America cant play the world police, you cant just step into another mans ground and star 'cleaning' it up..

 

China?, Korea? terrible examples. If we go there, we won't win, hands down loses, but in Iraq, we will win, we are winning. I believe whole heartedly that Saddam had WMD's, every time that UN Inspectors came, he restricted them, The world is a safer place now.

 

I think wars like Afghanistan and Irak were intended to sell the idea that you can have a humane war with a cause to bring democracy and such an effective millitary might that spending billions is the thing to do. To maintain our way of life, bla bla. I think it is backfiring in Irak and now people are going to realize how fucked up it is. The best thing we can wish for.
The best thing is to laugh at them.
Saddam for thinking he could chalenge america with his fake popularity. And the 2 clowns who made it possible to overturn the desire of the great magority of the world community. What is not funny is the future. Terrorism the big monster has never been more openly active. Read the headlines. 2 years or 12 years how long is the US glued to Irak millitarily and politically. Winning anywhere? Look whats happening to latin america the us is losing clout and the allmighty sweatback has never been so low so long. Since the attack on the world trade center there has been terrorist attacks quite a lot have you noticed. In Spain Great Britain France had month long riots.
In Russia it is really sickening. And weapons of massive destruction who made these things in the first place.
People in the US want to feel like they can go and kick ass and then everybody is going to love them and want to help them join them. Irak is Iran to be face it. Democracy?
Sombody went and peed on a hornets nest now we have widespread racial and religious hatred all over. Some people think they got momentum just because they can watch back on their sofas at home and support the troops.
Some people are in denial starting from the top down. Like when the 3 planes taken over by less than 2 dozen bad people ready to die and Bush calls them cowards. The weapons of mass destruction will be found when they finally get Bin Ladden thats what the man on the streets is waiting for. You know when it sais (the end) when you accomplish the mission.
Somebody please tell me how the us is winning the war? By controlling the headlines?
Irak was weakened by the 13 years of economic embargoes. It s population was exhausted sick and polarized. Propaganda was on the side of the war mongers. Media was never so biased. Polls were making headlines. And people voted the creep in twice.
Let me tell you where I think the US will have lost the war. When it becomes totally clear that the only thing left to do is get out the us will likely leave leaving in place a weak Irak government. A friendly regime but then the half of a million and maybe more they will have personality disorders, Its like beating up an old man with a baseball bat it may start up fun at first macho and cool. But then your consciousness comes and fucks with you.
Those men will in turn have relations and kids they will affect. US citizens will travel less and less as the world becomes more and more unsympathetic and suspicious. The isolation will end up creating more of a sick power tripping complex that will mold American policy and America will decline alienated it will be out rated like it is in so many areas now. Become a dinosaur in social society lagging in health care and the kind of things good government can bring. Hyper capitalism will reach its limits but in the US free establishment logic will continue to override all other ideologies. People will keep on being manipulated by the media and the rich ones. Growing further away from each other as well as suspicion about this or that individualism will bring the importance of individuality itself. And people will have less soul

 

At least people who fight in wars have some concept of the English language. Besides, sometimes war is necessary. Maybe not this one...but look at WW2 or the Revolutionary War. War is a means to an end. The problem is that not everyone agrees on the end.

You cant really expect the President to fight in a war, that would be entirely ridiculous.

 

amm..why not if HE started it? i know its practicaly impossible, but its logical that u fight for ur beliefs. He beliefs that he has to go to iraq bring oil to america and save te world of this 'monster'. He should then go there and do it.

 

china & korea are examples which show that US picks on countries where they can be SURE that they win.

 

and the world isnt a safer place now, its a MORE dangerous because terorists are more active now. Every week urboys get killed & reportes get kidnaped. Every month somwhere there is a bomb.. No, its not safer IMO

 

Why should we fight a possible losing battle, its stupid, are you saying that you'd pick a fight with a professional boxer. And know that your ass is about to be handed to you.

And I think the world is a safer place. Think about how bad we'd be walked over if we didn't show some force.

Ok, first, you weren't alive during Vietnam, neither was I, but I've talked to people in the military, they've told me that its a winning battle.

 

you've got to be kidding me if you actually think the world is a safer place. wake up dude. as already said, terrorism is higher than ever, paranoia and suspicion are increasing, the world is getting more and more isolated and "secured", which is causing more and more people to become unhappy, which will make more and more depressed kids to want to take a gun to their school because they hate life, which will cause MORE security, and MORE isolation, and the cycle continues.

peace and love never fails. it keeps life simple, it keeps people happy, it doesn't kill anybody, it doesn't destroy nature.

First, don't bring up those kids, they are stupid, they need to get a life, fuck them, they can burn in hell. You know what, you may be paranoid, I'm not, We haven't had much if any terrorist attacks in the US since then.

 

We didn't truly lose, they had an advantage, jungle, they knew it better than us, we weren't trained for that. It was unfortunate, but it was better that we withdrawed.

and i'm not talking about just the US. in the entire world, there's more terrorist attacks than before. if there was no such thing as war, there'd be no terrorist attacks ever.

 

No, I'm not saying people who aren't happy should die, I'm saying that the people who take out their agressions on others should burn in hell, half of those kids don't have that bad of lives.

Oh, you are completely wrong here, first, I am talking about the U.S. I have no responsiblity to other countries. And believe me, there is no such thing as a society without hatred, in a lot of humans, its natural, you can't say that if there was no war there would be no killing.
