Crochet blanket i made for mom's b-day

i made this for my mom for her b-day.
I just learnt how to crochet last May...I've made other things, but haven't been able to take any other pics, so this is my first one to show you guys!
i would have never learned how to do any of the crafty stuff I do if it weren't for all your guy's insiration on here!!!!!

I'd been working on it since Christmas and her b-day was feb.17. I worked on it any chance that I got! There were some mornings that I stayed up till 4am working on it.
I just finished on up for my MIL, but it's going to be a few days before I can get a pic up.

WOW that's gorgeous detail. I'm working on a baby blanket right now for Holly and Brian but it's coming along very slowly...I love crocheting!!!! that is gorgeous though I love it.

it's just plain worsted weight yarn. I wa actually supposed to usef this soft, silky yarn, but the skeins were $5 each and I needed 20 of them.
But I liked the way it turned out with this yarn. it's like a bunch of just fluffy....white....stuff!
Next on the list is a baby blanket for a lady at my husband's college. She's due in a month...so i'd better get my arse in gear!
