Don't use bleach. Use dishsoap and let it soak. Then boil it.

#2 If I use alcohol to clean it, and I do an obsessive job of cleaning it, I shouldn't have to worry about smoking any alcohol right? I'm kind of obsessive when it comes to using other chemicals with my devices. I like to avoid as much damage as possible. I know I've got some rubbing alcohol at home, would that work for cleaning my pipe? If not, where would one find good cleaning alcohol?

 

rubbing alcohol evaporates so it would be a good choice too. bleach wouldn't so dont use that ............

 

You could rinse it with hot water after and let it dry.
