Well, I don't know too much about the current production of LSD and how things are looking for that, or how the government is monitering the 'hard-to-obtain' chemicals required for LSD, but I was just curious.

Do you think the future of LSD looks bad? Do you think LSD will eventaully just die out?

This can be from mere speculation or very educated guesses: both are interesting to read.

and the track it has been on for the last 30 years, i can see it dieing out it porbably wont but it definitly is not what it use to be, todays acid is ALOT lower qulity also most cheap acid is either some RC or a analog of LSD25 theres a couple artitcles on www.erowid.org about this issue, as it stands i wont even bother with LSD it doesnt seem worth it

    http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_info8.shtml

look at the chart at the bottom, it comaires acid of now to the acid of the 60s

acid now is like a weird combo of crude lysergic amines, mescaline,TMA,methamphetamine, psilocin, scopolamine & atropine

there's good LSD out there and there is a love and motivation for distributing the substance. this will never die.

Could happen. It's definitely not as widespread as it used to be, but for certain sectors of the population and people involved in certain scenes it is alive and well. Shit I just took five hits of good acid last Friday. There is still a market for it, albeit a small one. MDMA may overtake acid amongst the hysterical and simple minded, but there will always be people who know the difference. And there will likely be heady risk taking chemists ready to concoct the stuff for decades to come. The prognosis isn't great, it probably isn't even good, but it's not that bad yet. If you ask me anyways.

dont worry.. all it takes is one or two new chemists to make the L supply increse ten fold.. L always goes up in down in quality and quantity when a major chemist is busted or another begins.. so hopefully there will soon be a few more (crosses fingers..)

Well I know someone is still making genuine acid on the west coast. Those same people have been making it since the 60's - they just don't distribute worldwide, or even as far as the east coast these days. But I believe someone must always continue to produce it. Some chemist somewhere must always believe in it and understand the necessity to continue the tradition. Because I cannot imagine a world without it. In today's world it's hard to find, which obviously sucks. It's still here, and as long as there is the possibility of creating it, regardless of what laws and bull shit the government tries to enforce, someone will do it. Without it, we are ignorant. Without it, the government can control us. It could always come back big too, who knows. It all depends on the organic chemists of the world. So if someone wants to change things, become an organic chemist and start producing it

Someone on these boards likened it to a storm - we're at the worst of it right now due to the political climate and the condition of our society. The storm will pass eventually.

Pickard was arrested in what 2002? That's one of probably two or three main sources, so there goes 1. quantity and 2. quality. But that's four years ago, enough time for people who have the know-how to get over it and start tryin themselves, and then to start making some dank shit. But what do I know, i've only been on the scene a few months.

no thats what i think one the bottom is my opinon, did you read the article? its in favor that LSD is pretty much the same as it always been, i disagree i think that it is mostly bullshit, i do agree how ever there is good acid out there that is pretty true to the oringinal but there is alot of cheap acid and rc crap turning up more and more, its bascily this everyone want acid but the supply of acid (good acid) is ok not great but not shit, some people have a problem with it, so people say the word acid everyone runs to them like a fucking free million dollar giveaway, for all they care you could put a pile of shit in there hand laced with LSA and they will come back for more, what is being sold as acid is the main problem. i have had people ask me for acid so many time is was totaly annoying everyone wants some here and theres not enough to go around. i dont think you understand what im trying to say
