Having sex? Nothing changes. Its completely overrated.

Once you learn to make love then your relationship will start to grow.

    love tom:)

changes? Yes... just like taking off your top for the first time around them changes it. For the better, imho. It's not necessarily a -huge- step, but it is a step, makes it more towards serious

your first time ever, yes, it changes a lot, it changes everything. Do it when you're comfortable, when -you- want it and not because someone else, and it'll be awesome. Just don't scrimp on the foreplay, and make sure you have a condom handy (or at least some lube)

and the first time ever... make sure it's with someone you really trust, someone who isn't gonna throw it back in your face in any way

    Yes and No...

If ya love them, with a foundation of friendship, and you both are ready... then not really. It didn't strke me before, or after, or hardly during that anything was different... just exploring a new way to pleasure eachother.

But it does make things more serious of course, like birth control, location, etc.

If ya love him, and you're truly ready... then enjoy yourself kids. :)

I think having sex with anyone, whether it be for lust or love, changes the dynamic of your relationship with that person. Whether for good or bad depends upon the situation, but one thing is for certain, you will never view that person quite the same again. At least that's been the case from my experience.

Have sex then leave your partner. That's is how respect is gained.

A lot depends on your expectations.

If you are ready to experience sex for the bodily pleasure, and if you have practiced alone enough to be in tune with your body, knowing how it works and what feels good, than you have a good chance of a pleasurable experience.

If you are hoping for a fairytail "life ever after" happy feeling, you are likely to be disappointed. It is way too soon to try to find the ONE person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. To be honest, why would you want to, there are so many interesting people in the world who are wating to meet you.

If you are ready, and you trust the guy to respect you once he earns "bragging rights", then go for it. But remember, you only give up your virginity once.

I would suggest other options and see how you feel about waiting a bit longer. Oral sex can be a wonderful substitution, if you have not already mastered that.

    Good luck,
    James

nothing really changes. you just learn to understand each other more.

virginity is totally overrated. it has nothing to do with the virgin mary or religion. the feudal lords during the medieval ages granted a law that all women who will get married should have their "first night" with their lord. *remember Braveheart?*this is where the notion of saving one's virginity started.
