Designer Sausage Rolls

    Designer sausage rolls are the future of sausage rolls due to increasing health issues in todays society. They are associated with being high in meat as well as fat. So whats the solution? while pastry should remain {possible alterations may be made for vegetarians and vegans} the others can be altered to meet todays world. First the sausage, the name should not make people think of slaughtered animals if you are a vegetarian or vegan. How? well say cheese* and califlower rolled together is a possible combination {I am neither of these groups hence my idea} but for those meat eaters like myself what about chicken breast and bacon doesn't that make you drool :D . The fat problem is tricky but I'm sure solvable although I'm not sure how without taking away the flavour but maybe cranberry skinless chicken breast may be one of the endless answers. So I ask you roll out your kitchens and post your ideas :D

    *I'm told there is vegan cheese which is why I've suggested it for both groups
