hi, ive been thinkin about tryin shrooms i wanted to know what they do to u, how long yur trip lasts, if its like acid etc. can anybody help me out.
everyone likez 2 talk hip shit like drugz an hair, however, not many realy want to know what they iz talkin bout.
hi... well shrooms do differents things to you depending on the dose. this is how i view it: 0.5-1.5g (Light dose): Certain disconnection from reality, mild visuals, brighter lights, certain euphoria -mostly in the coming up-, a bit hard to talk to normal people, possible paranoia. Lenghth: 2-6hours 1.5-2.5 (Medium dose): Everything from light dose except more intense, visuals become better and stronger, disconnection from reality is more apparent, more introspection, same euphoric coming up, but the coming-down is a bit harder to handle. Length: 4-7 hours 2.5g+ (High dose): closed-eye visuals, everything stronger, time distortion, and risks of bad trips and ego loss... if bad trip occurs, trip is longer, loss of ego, COMPLETE disconnection from reality, you think you live in the afterlife of something (well i did at least), and when the bad trip is over, the best part of a mushroom trip, a certain enlightenment, dream-like perception Length: 5-9 hours Anyways, thats with cubensis shrooms, the ones that roam around Montreal... apparently we have some fuckin strong batches.
an many diferent strains, some body(poisonous) fellin, then some guud visual, psyckic tripz, very rare.
yes, mushrooms are like acid. Some people say acid is stronger but i've found shrooms to be stronger. Anyway, it's going to feel weird. The trip lasts 5-8 hours. You'll take it, there'll be a 45 minute or so onset, and you'll get euphoria, and the effects will be slowly introduced. The peak should be 3-4 hours from my experience, and then you'll come down. After the trip, you may be in a little bit of shock, but there'll be euphoria, and you'll be entirely at peace with everything. You have total acceptance, and you know what to do. Eventually you will get really burnt out and crash. The visual effects and hallucinations are much less profound than the mental effects. Your thought patterns will be altered, so you think more in vague associations, and distant memories and things like that. Consciousness goes above words, so you're thoughts will bypass language. Time will be gone, and other things you would normally measure mentally will have no meaning, and they will either be impossible to estimate, or not present. Your first time, you will feel a strongly that reality is so totally altered, that the new feelings and insights you gain (which again may not translate into words) are reality, and everything else is false. This incredibly enlightening, for a short time to experience the meaning of life. This is the peak of the trip. You'll be tapped into a telepathic spiritual force beyond what you could possibly imagine in normal consciousness. It works beyond logic, to get this amazing kind of energy that links you with existance. In terms of hallucinations, the first ones will be that walls and things will be kind of wavy. If you look at straight lines, they will begin to wobble a bit. Next, things will warp, melt and twist. Especially in good light, things kind of turn into waves. My ceiling turned into white waves on an ocean. You may also be in connection with some pretty strange forces. You can communicate with them. From my experience, it can be pretty subtle (my Jerry Garcia picture smiling at me and sending this big exchange of positive emotion) or it can be really profound like being taken in and bonding with the universe. This is way past normal sensory perception. You don't just "see" them, but your senses merge, and you simply "become" it. None of this will very likely happen to you unless your mind is ready for it. The effects depend on your set and setting as much as the dose you take. If you're ready for this journey into your soul, then you'll get more out of it. If you're not confident, or you're nervous, it could end up bad. If you feel like you want it to work, and you just get greedy and impatient, then you won't get much out of it, in terms of a lasting positive effect on you. You should know that mushrooms are incredibly powerful, and have the potential to completely change the way you see yourself and the world. I'm very different since I took them. They can be positive or negative, so be ready for it. They can be a lot of fun, but know that they are able to change you, no matter how much you're enjoying yourself. Happy tripping.
Stay away from them! They take you to a different reality, and not neccessarily a good one. They are dangerous, absolutely different from LSD.
How are they different than LSD? And if they are dangerous, what makes LSD safe? I think they both can be dangerous if used stupidly, but to say "stay away from them" indefinitely isn't really good advice, and its not really true.
It's your sanity. LSD heightens reality; shrooms replace it with an alternate reality. Put it this way-- the Aztecs considered shrooms "the food of the Gods". And, who were their Gods? Demented demons that demanded human sacrifice. The Aztecs sure obliged them.
Shrooms and other psychadelics are dangerous because they can trigger latent schizophrenia (and assorted other latent problems). They cannot cause them. Also with shrooms, there is always a danger they have developed (potentially fatal) molds, if grown or dried incorrectly, or maybe be similar-looking-but-poisonous species if picked from the wild.
Alright, that makes sense. If that's the descriptions you give, what do DMT and mescaline do to reality?
