I saw this movie a little while back, and the truth is, I was dissapointed. I found that the characters had very little depth, and the plot wasn't interesting or anything. I know the setting and situation were pretty cool, but I think it could have been done better. It was kinda funny, but whats the big deal with this movie? The characters weren't good enough, I think...
i don't think that there is suppose to be a main idea about this movie.even though it's lacking that i still found it interesting and plus you don't really have to think hard aboutjust sit back and relax...good music thoughand i get what you are saying.it could have been twice as good
Yeah. It's fun to watch, but it was set up to be so good, I mean, there was so much it lacked that it easily could have had. I don't know. I guess its a fun movie anyway.
Yes, def. no point was intended. Gotta love richard linklater films. Check out Waking Life, one of my favs. You'll either love it or hate it.
The first time I saw it I was really disappointed. The second time I saw it, I loved it. But I think thats because I watched it with a bunch of people the second time and we played drinking games as we watched it.
Waking Life is incredible. But it had some other concepts to it that Dazed and Confused didn't. Maybe I'll watch it again with people and get high or something. That'll change my opinion. It usually does.
It's about high school students that stay high and drink a lot. What did you expect? Stop thinking about it so much and enjoy it for what it is.
My dh and I watched again, for the first time in years. It really reminded us of a Friday or Saturday night in HS, when we were kids in the 70s. Just my opinion, having been there. The kid refused to sign a fascists agreement, written by a GYM teacher. I think the point of the story was quite good. JMO.
