Okay there are so many bitchy people that come to my work BUT...

today this lady came in and i waited on her and she goes "I just wanna tell you you do a WONDERFUL job and that this is truly the best service ive recieved anywhere in years!" then she thanked me about three more times and said "bless you!" as she walked out the door.

i mean.... i was nice to her and all.... im always nice but daaamn, she didnt LOOK like the type to be smoking crack but ya never know

in any case.... i love nice people. i love compliments and people that just bring a smile to your face throughout the day.

friendly people can make life seem worth everything.

 

yeah I love getting compliments too..... but I get them second hand, through the servers, of course. but still, I love making a customer's day....... with my quality of food I give them. I do get alot of compliments, probably more than anyone in the back of the house. I actually had a customer who went to the back to even thank me in person.

 

compliments make me happy There was this one guy (who's actually been in a couple of times since) who was really happy with how hard I'd looked for shoes for him, I guess no one had tried that hard to find him shoes even in the higher end stores. Really long but really skinny feet, hard to fit properly

random compliments are awesome!

i love compliments...that's one of the things im lucky with is that my job isnt thankless...and i have the baloons to prove it hah.

I like it too. One of the main problems of working in retail is the amount of fucktard customers you get. One of these days Im really gonna blow at one of them...........

But the nice customers keep that from happening quite so soon.

hey you sound like your smokin! That is great when you get a thank you or compliment. I like to give them all of the time. If I see something I try to let the ppl know. Soooo cheesy. ugh. I dont do it to get anything back though. Some people really lay it on thick... I hate that shit. One chick was like "ooooh I love your hair it looks so natural". I hate that kind of shit sometimes.

 

haha i know what you mean. sometimes when people over do things they seem fake and you dont believe any of it.
