augustus pablo is makes some really hip shit. I really like king tubby meets rockers uptown and east of the river nile (especially the orinal recording). Its very good ambient music, but not something that you would really concentrate on the music.

the original 'east of the river nile' is the best! i like 'rockers uptown' and his 'java java dub' [pablo with clive chin] a lot too he's on a bunch of black ark recordings, 'vibrate on', etc.
