I've witnessed ZERO evidence of such imaginary creations.

The Hebrew and the Greek (both of which I was a student of) basically break it down to the words : neshama, psuche, pneuma, and ruach. The "soul" is described by the Greek as psuche from which we developed our term "psyche". Hello? As Leary once said, it is obvious that this is talking of the MIND. The "spirit" is given several definitions which all come at describing vitality -- all natural. There is no reason or evidence to suggest that these words mean some crazy shit that the ghost hunters and nutball religious fetishists claim.

 

Okay, I don't know about anyone else, but I don't come on here to convert anyone. I believe what I believe and I don't feel that I should have to PROVE anything. No one is trying to tell anyone what to believe except those that are telling us to believe nothing.

 

I will just say this: just because you have an explanation for something, even a correct one, doesn't mean it's the only one that exists. Perhaps there are deeper levels, deeper meanings, to "mind" and "vitality" than what materialism-driven science can see. Indeed, I neither expect, nor want, spirituality in my science, yet that doesn't mean spirituality doesn't exist. It's just not part of what science can explore, since it isn't material.
