holy shit i fucked somethin up,, any ideas??

    about 2 weeks ago i did somethin,,??

    feels like a muscle strain,, but it wont go away..

    its betwen my shoulder blades is the odd thing..

    i work in a very pysical job,, i handle between 150 an 200 pounds several times daily..

    i do a lot of overhead work as well..

    it just wont go away,,an i cant take time off, no i wont take time off..

    im just wondering if anyone may have a fucking clue what i did or how i can help it heal without rest?

    fuckin hurts..

    What exactly did you do?

    You know mine has taken a year to get right but I can still feel it pull if I push it so I dont I use my right shoulder for the heavy stuff.

    Im sure you can tell which side of your body its on and then start using the other side, the body can and will make up for what it can.

    Even after jimmy the doc gave me flexerile (its a exo-skeletal muscle relaxer) or however you spell it, it dont fuck you up but does help take the pain away at night to sleep.

    I was told give it a year to heal and go easy or go under the knife, take over a year to heal and have scar tissue removed every ten.

    Hope it gets better.

    get a massage by someone who knows what their doing...surely you guys have some healer friends up there!

    serioulsy though josai's right and you also could probibly benefit from acupuncture! and do yoga fer crissakes ;P

    ahaahhhhaaaaaaaa yoga????? roflmao,,, i just cannot picture hhb doin anything like yoga unless he did it by accident somehow.....

    man josai,,, we not got no friends up here....;)

    No serious we dont really,,,, ... n the few we do massage is not on their agenda....:)

    where exactly is it HH? I prediagnose lots of musicians with strain injury (gear weighs a lot and you are in those hunched positions)
    is it centered between the blades in points? running completely like a solid band of pain?
    more to one side?
    What motions trigger it?
    and I sing the praises of absorbine jr linament, also Merry hempsters Vegan balm.

    OooOoooh yeah, some balm would be great!
    got any st john's wort oil???? it's great for sore muscles
    also simmons makes an 'herbal vapors' like the natural equivalent of vick's vap-o-rub & it really helps soreness as well
    maybe i can bring you guys something if i make it over (but that won't be till april....Ouch!)

    man im goin to the whacked out rainbow type chiropractor here tomorrow..

    he doesnt accept payment,,but a donation of 20 bucks would be apreciated..
    oh an ya gotta sign a waiver..

    i here some folks swear by him..

    D.M. its the disk dead center of my shoulder blades,, ya can take yer finger an roll it around an it gos,, pop, pop, pop,,, an the muscle pain runs up ,, nerve pain out thru my right arm an concentrated in that spot..

    it pretty much SUCKS!!!

    oooooooooooooohhh I have the one under that likes to go sideways. pay a LOT of attention to which move the chiro uses that makes it slip pack in place.
    We lace fingers together, one palm on the other and have teh person breathe deeply. Wait a few breaths and when the breath is out the farthest, push down.
    do shoulder stretches as you work.
