what the fuck is that? so show me where that r value has been produced besides special order in the last 30 years,,

thats a high density batt that in the united states would cost ya a 3 week wait an a special order ticket that would bump it up to a dollar a square foot..

yes we all understand R factors,,'''

so why dont ya just take a r 38 batt an condensce it into a r 22 space? oh wait then ya lose airflow?

so gate,, whats the proper joist for a high density r 35 batt to be installed in?

    r 35.. pfft..

you could compress it into a 2x 10 floor joist possibly losing 1 R value (9 7/8" compressed into 9 5/8")however it probably would work in a ceiling with no loss in R value.Availability and cost are another thing and tend to be more of local issue.never say never...

A "Rosy cruppens" is one of the idiots in the novel mispronouncing "Rosicrucians",the mystical society.

What the fuck is all this noise about insulation values? This is a work of fiction, not a treatise on home building. I never said anything about installing a factory-rated R-35 batt. One can ACHIEVE that rating, but what the fuck does that have to do with the price of oranges?

Soon, we'll be discussing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

    Enough, already!

    Soon, I'll be voting Democratic-- endorsing baby-murder, Baal-worship, Demon-pleasing.

    Not joking, folks-- sorry.

(Thudly is working on another vodka drunk-- two days of soberness was not enough respite--I really didn't sober up that much).

Just long enough to fall in cyberspace-love with ShamelessUnbredCow.

    (Or was it actually Teepi?)

Or, could it have been, (GASP!), Sloth?

I know for damn sure it ain't HippieTheHillbilly.

A little bit of salt hurts no one. Me, for example.

I have high blood-pressure (which, I doubt) 145-65. When I was young (35 years ago), that was considered "normal". Now, the standards have changed-- my upper number is considered "high".

    Well, fuck'em with a fine-toothed comb.

As Willie Nelson once said (and, he stole the phrase from Rabelais, a 16th century satirist), "There are more old drunks than old doctors."

    Next case, nurse!
