and boy did it feel good to be free again It was alittle rainy though and I only went for a block or two before I go to my friends house, and by that time the soles of my feet were numb. But so worth it!
I've been doing the same thing, just little bits. Walking home from work (two blocks), or out with the dog. And yeah, when it's wet the feet go numb-ish. Last year I rushed it and got very painful blisters on my heels, so this time I'm goin' slow. Feels great though, especially the grassy areas when they're warm from the sun
The weather has been very nice here lately. I just love warm concrete under foot. Surprised me how tender my feet have gotten the last 3 months. Supposed to be in the mid 70s all weekend. Good enough for a good hike in the mountains.
Today was my first day of the year! It had been raining so it was a little muddy but the air was warm and the sun was shining brightly. I walked with my boyfriend through a local park with our dog. Soon he will join me barefooting, once the weather gets warmer. It's only about 54 degrees. I can't wait for 60 and 70 degree weather! Peace & love
I'm going to be in Toronto in early April. What are the barefooting conditions like around that time of year? Mark
A couple days ago, I went barefooting on the trails of Clifty Falls. It was beautiful, there were many little waterfalls due to the excess amount of rain over the last few days. Peace & love
