Hey, has anyone tried scar plasters? Not sure if that is an english word.. Anyway here in the Netherlands we got this brand Hansaplast and they sell plasters to put on scars to make em go away.. I'm scared to try but I do want to get rid of my scars! Has anyone tried em or does anyone know how they work?
    Thanks!

I've heard good things about both vitamin E and cocoa butter lotions to help with getting rid of scar tissue (Vit E more for regular scars, cocoa butter more for stretch marks)

I don't know about plasters though, I haven't really heard of them

Is that like silicon sheets that you put on scars?

I don't know how well that sort of thing works, but the stuff you just rub on lightens and makes scars less obvious (Mederma and stuff like that). I'm sure that if it's more expensive than stuff you just put on, it probably works better. Hey, it's worth a try!

I have a huge scar on my shoulder and my doctor gave me Mederma. It was so expensive I stopped using it and then went tanning and It looks just as bad as when I got it. My brother used It on his face and it worked pretty good though.

Try Bio Oil, its a great all rounder for scars, streachmarks, dry skin, wrinkles - the lot! A natraul product called Mebo Scar Lotion is also brilliant. Its used on burn victims in over 5000 hosptials around the world and it makes an amazing improvment. :)
