Hippy as a religion?

Greetings all,
I noticed when setting up my profile that hippy was listed as a religion. I almosted picked it, but relised I was not sure what that means here or mostly in genernal. I have considered I self a pagan as in earth spiritual to put simiply. But am evalving again in my spiritual identity.

Would anyone mind sharing, please?

being a hippie may be a choice,an it is a walk of faith..

however it has nothing to do with religion..

i know hippies who are pagen,christian,krishna,hindu, agnostic, etc. etc..

you must understand as much as this site professes its hippie roots,, its grown so big that the administraors tend to hire people that are clueless to set it up..

once again bein a hippie,, IMHO may be a walk of faith,, but whoever throwed that up in the profile thing ,, is either a complete fool or a psych student workin on a thesis..

Hippie-ism is not a religion, per se.


However, feline-ism does qualify.

Well I'm a Hippy but as a spiritual path I'm a Christian..... To me hippy is a philosophy much like buddhism.......... Religion is for the weak who can't think beyond what is put into their head and the corrupt who put it there for their own gain of power and control!
