Hi! Now that it's the springtime, I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on how to control crabgrass and weeds...organically. I've just started to change the ways that we live, and I'd rather see what is out there instead of using scott's.

I've heard that if you sprinkle baking soda on it, it kills the crabgrass but not the grass. I've also seen a product from agralawn that is suppose to do it...but I'm a little doubtful about it since it looks kind of like a gimic.

    Thanks in advance!

What you should have done last fall was put newspaper over the areas you wanted to kill it. Then buried the newspaper under mulch.
