I probably have a good deal of gray 'cause I know that runs in the family, but since I haven't seen my natural hair colour in 15 years, it doesn't really matter.
i've been colouring my hair for ages. not sure when the grays started coming in, but i notice them at my roots now. they make nice highlights (i henna, so they turn out lighter than the rest of my hair). i'll probably colour them until i'm a non-menstruating crone/elder. i have a young looking face (still get carded!), but there's no point in going grey if i dont have too. beside, i like the henna, it conditions and colours~i'd do it anyways, even if i didnt have greys to cover.
i am NOT a crack hoe. just a hoe. i love his braveheart hair. only his is red, so it's like the cowardly lion. only cuter. i have been dyeing my hair various colors since my late teens. it started greying when i was about 26 i think, and there's a lot there now but i keep on dyeing it. i guess that makes me a 'clock chaser', never heard that term before. eh, it's my one vanity. i don't wear make up, don't fuss with my hair other than color it, don't fuss over my clothes. i don't know how much longer i'll keep doing it though--have to do it almost every month at this point. but when i start to let it grow out i realize i can't handle being so grey and i dye it again.
i have one of those hairs too, only mine is in my eyebrow. i'll be combing my hair or something and suddenly notice that the giant hair of doom is baaaaaackk. i have never successfully plucked a hair so i just keep cutting it short. i used to have one of these on one of my nipples, too, but my daughter bit my nipple when she was nursing and killed the hair. now there's a dark spot there.
around 23....and no i dont color it to cover the gray. i color it on occasion just for the fun of it...but those gray hairs, well they have been earned
oh you would still know. gray hair just comes in freaking 4 inches long over night and sticks up...lol. plus they are so course that even when you do color your hair, the gray doesnt get covered for long. like nimh said though, they make for good highlights
Early 30's...I'm about 5-10% gray, and I don't cover it. As someone else said, it makes good highlights...
Started at 25......I just started dying it last month to hide the many grey hairs I have now. I am 32.
A really nice auburn...I love it red. My natural is a light ashy brown. Kind of mousy, and the grey pops right out. My husband always says he can't see it....but I know it's there and while I was talking to a friend about it, she says "well, I wasn't going to say anything...." That did it for me. I used this colour....it's #119A Light Spice...
I bet it looks awesome. Especially with your skin tone. My husband says the same thing. He says so what about the gray, let it go. I look at it and I think I'm too young to have all this gray and then I get depressed because I still want some of my youth. I don't want to chase the clock however I don't want to avoid mirrors either. This past year I spent letting the color grow out. I have about 2 more trims left and it will be all natural. Maybe the sun will highlight the brown and the grays won't be so visible. If not I might dye it again.
I don't have any we don't go gray until our late 30's...although I don't think I'd know if I had any d:
and I have friends who went grey in their early 20's it's biological, nothing to do with age...dye it if you feel more comftrable...nothing wrong with that. Shit I dye mine just out of vanity...but I despise my vanity adn how much I care how others view me so...
I got a few at like 13-14ish? and a few more in the later years but it stopped around 18. I just snatched the fuckers out. Dr blamed stress.
