co2 enrichment

co2 generators are expensive and create a lot of heat and tanks are really heavy and hard for me to handle. is co2 enrichment worth the trouble or is fresh air good enough

 

Try using a tub or two of "exello-fizz" which are tablets you insert into water to release Co2 into your budchamber.
It's about $30.00 for a one month supply(dpending on the size of your grow- you may be able to split the tabs in half for a smaller grow)
But using the tablets for a month or two, should give you enough co2 to notice if there is enough of a difference to warrant a co2 setup.
Who knows maybe you'll like the tablets and continue using them, they are pretty simple and efective.
Im currently using increased airflow myself, but am getting ready to look into co2 deeper myself.

 

Fresh air will fall between 300-400 ppm of co2 while a inriched environment via a generator or injection can get ya up to where ya wanna be at 1500 ppm.Giving plants 1500 ppm can increase growth rates up to 30% and that includes yields.As for heat factor from a generator,it will hurt ya in a closet,but by no means a small room or walk in closet;perhaps 2-5 degrees depending on size of room.Co2 is well worth it.

 

Ive for the past 6 months switched from bottled c02 to a burner at first i thaught it was way to hot because i wasnt able to regulate it well enough then i went and baught a greenairproducts dual dial timer so i could have the burner come on for 5min. every 20 min. that way it is effectively on one quarter of the time.it works so well i have had to turn it off several times because the ladies out grow there allowed space..................
but air in good amounts is good enough i just like the extra gadgets..

Hell of alot cheaper to run a generator as well verses bottled.

 

that is so true.plus with that 1/4 cycle my 10 gal.TANK(I think) lasts for a while.and when it does run out.its only 15 bucks to refill..

I cycle on 3 minutes on the hour and 57 off ,after each cycle I get to 1500ppm and just prior to the next cycle its still at 900-1000.I use 2 -5 gal prop tanks with a splitter,when one runs out the other kicks in and each lasts 28 days so a 8 week flower cycle can be covered for a mere $20.

 

When you learn how to pass gass correctly, things are bound to get very STINKY!!!
