med growers..

Does is med grower actually get paid enough to support themself and thier family doing this or do they all have diff jobs too? Ive been wondering this cuz if it is an occupation that actually pays well Id like to look into it, if not Ill jus remember about it incase times get tough later on.

Im a medical grower in california... But I grow for two of us. I produce a pound a month of medicine. We smoke 1/4 ounce between us on a good day...More if we have it. We can go through an ounce in 3 days here.
So really, with all the playing around I do making seeds and running experimental strains- im lucky to keep weed in the house. Our electric bill is outrageous- WE SMOKE WHAT WE GROW. If i dont work ,we starve and the plants suffer-flat out. Im lucky to grow enough to keep up the electric bill and provide our medicine.Upgrading is another story altogether......
Im more of a private breeder than commercial grower though. A commercial grower could make bank in cali right now. But it's risky as hell and the feds are not cool about it yet. Maybe when the federal government begins to "10-99" commercial growers and not busting us if we pay our taxes-maybe then I'll lean more toward commercial growing with my setup. I just need another trailer to move into- and I could blow this one out full scale. 25x8 instead of 6x8.. L.O.L.
But that's all just a pipe dream...

i know some people who grow for the clubs in sanfransisco and they get around $4,500 a pound, then the clubs turn around and sell em for upwards of $7000 by selling $85-95 for 4 gram jars. and half the time it doesnt even touch the quality of what some of the good'ol'boys up on the mountain are growing.

 

ya one of my buddys dealers somehow got a hold of some medicinal herb, we had a half o, and it was around the same qaulity as the street weed. Not much of a difference at all.

 

all depends on who is growing it. theres no "magical" source for dank pot. its all grown by someone somewhere. so medical pot can either be the dankest of dank or the shwagest of shwag. if yer going to a club its all gonna be super dank cause the people they buy from know what theyre doing.

 

Never heard of those prices since med use came into play.I know med users in cali,colo,and oregon and the highest price a bank has ever paid for the sweetest meddies is $3200.I think your bro is pulling your leg.

 

go to 95% of the clubs in california and tell me that 4 gram jars dont cost 85-95 bucks for 4 grams. do the math of what that comes out to when buying a pound. and ive trimmed for these people the last two outdoor harvests and i know what im getting paid compared to people who arent growing for clubs. the going price for a lb out here on the coast is generally $2000 for outdoor.

 

Dont have to do the math,one will pay more for those amounts,cost goes down as quanity goes up.Common sense

I am refering to what they buy it for not what they sell it for.

 

doesnt change the fact that certain clubs sell lbs for close to 7G's. if you've been to either of the clubs in the north part of san fransisco we wouldnt be having this conversation. dont even wanna get into hash prices.

Mty club has 3 1/3 gram bottles that range from 20 to 25 dollars for the thai.
40 dollars for purple kush, that was almost black.
to 50 dollars for granndaddy or purple urkle.
the hash prices are another story though......
around 40 a gram usually.
But the thai actually isnt bad at all, and you just cant beat the price. It just has the brownish color- which is the lowest price range.
purple being the highest.
Dont make a dfifference how good it is- it's priced according to color.
they always have ten dollar joints rolled with the 1.25 papers, which i hear weigh out to over a gram.....Modesto is almost two hours away from here though- so I wont drive threre for less than a half ounce usually.
If you get there when the club opens on the weekend- there are allthese guys buying up 1/4 pound or 1/2 pound worth of halfs and ounces, practically tripping each other trying to beat the other guy in the door.
If you go back after lunchtime, they usually re-stock the halfs and ounces with a better selection of medical quality buds. he people there waiting for them to open after lunch- are all laid back and just getting some personal.
I went for a half of grandaddy early one friday or saturday morning- got there when the club opened. had A guy in the lot tell me the club will trip out on me for smoking outside my car. So it was raining anyways and i wasn't trippin.
Dude practically pushed me down getting into the club when they opened. im and about 15 other dudes ran to get in line, literally ran.
they all got inside and started spending 1000 to 1500 each, leaving the REAL MED patients with ONLY 1/8ths to choose from. I had to get 7 eighths of jack herer and 7 eighths of grandaddy- because i was getting our week supply.
I saw about five ounces of grandaddy and six of jack fly off the shelves that day.
If I see that kid again, he might get a flat when he runs into the club next time...
OOOPS psssssttttttt....
greedy bastards- if the clubs are cool about the meds- then the sharks will be hanging out to turn a buck from it.
