So, he's 6 months and has tried sweet potatoes and squash, and carrots. We are stuck, what do you try next. he didn't have a problem with all of them, allergy wise, could care less about the carrots. We were told that you start with the organge colored vegies but wasn't told what is after, so my question to you all is what order do you go in if there is really a order or even matters? He's getting tired of sweet potatoes im sure since that's all he has. The doctor on Wednesday told us that he can have orange juice, but I was told not to because of the acid in it, his stomach isn't able to handle orange but then the doc told me he can. Im confused. Also he has two teeth and more cuming.

Hmmm, I think the green veggies were next with us... peas & beans, and then fruits. Applesauce and strained peaches were favorites here :)
    love,

I've always done fruits before veggies. I don't really like veggie myself, so that's probably why ;) My kids really dug bananas, apples and peaches.

My kids didn't get OJ untill nearing 2years old. I did'nt want to even take the chance.

We started with the greens next too. My babies didn't like them as much as the sweet potatoes, but they did alright. My two also seemed to have a lot more gas with the green veggies.

Oranges, followed by greens, followed by fruits, then small amounts of meats (if you eat them) followed by legumes, and last of all whole grains at or over 1 year.

Most babies love avocados, bananas are a favorite stand-by. My babies enjoyed zucchini and pumpkin. Avoid broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower until baby is walking, they're too gassy.
