Haha. Good question, brother. Actually, the Old Testament makes mention of ancient peoples using marijuana. I mean, incense? No. "Incense" was basically a term for "psycho-active substance". And marijuana was a common one. I'm not an expert on this, but I'm sure you could find more of it with a simple Google search. I also think that there's something in the Bible about not purposefully harming your body, and I think smoking falls under that category. I mean, if that's the reason, the just eat brownies, drink tea, or use a vaporizer, you know?

I have read something about all seed bearing herbs are to be used by man. (thanks to cypress hilll lol) Although I don't live my life by the bible in any fashion (im pagan) so I could care less about what the bible says.
yeh, theres heaps of boring shit about weed references in the bible but unless you want to try and argue with a silly by-the-book-christian, or are a silly by-the-book-christian and worried about where weed fits in, there aint no point lookin deep into it, all bible interpretation is pretty bullshit anyway, considering how many times its been translated and formatted

They were always marchin in a great cloud of smoke, meditatin in a tent filled with smoke or sendin a sweet smell up unto the Lord. Whadda ya figure was in there? woah^ basically the only thing that is for sure in the bible about weed isnt really. I mean the only rules to it... use in moderation.. and the other one is something along the lines of if you hav good intentions it works out better for you. Like if youre talking a girl on a date to have a nice time and become better friends that isnt a sin, but if youre taking her on a date to get laid, well that is a sin.. .. so basically for weed that means if youre smoking weed to get fucked up at a party, escape from problems, etc. then thats wrong, but if youre smoking for medical reasons, spiritual/religous reasons, meditation, then i dont think god has a problem with it.
