Well .. iv been confused from a long time now, because when i go through these forums .. i see a totally different approach of women towards masturbating .. i hardly find any girl/women who duznt masterbate .. whereas, in reality .. i hear MOST almost ALL of the women/girls saying that they dont masterbate and blaa blaaa .. so what exactly is itt .. do ALL the girls masterbate .. touch theirselves .. or its just this few bunch ov girls who r into it ..

would you belive a girl who says .. she has never touched or pleasured herself .. or is there anycase of this sort that uv seen or heard aboutt ..

i think you dont find as many women admitting to masturbating in real life because for a long time female masturbation has been a silenced topic, but just recently it has started to be talked about more openly. Maybe if someone had asked me 10 years ago if i did i would've denied it.

 

i still deny it most of the time if someone i know in person wants to know. the only people i've admitted it to have been boyfriends and like... 2 female friends. its just such a taboo thing. but i really do believe that almost everyone does it. everyone.

Masturbating for females is still a hugely taboo subject.

We have been raised for hundreds of years that masturbation is wrong and a sin. And even in this generation of freedom we still have those guidelines embedded in our brains.

Almost every girl you talk to who says she doesn't masturbate is lying. And the women on here are just protected by this wonderful guise called the internet, and don't feel ashamed to admit to their masturbations.

Although... I've always admitted to masturbating. Hell, I bought my first and second vibe with my two best friends.

 

You're getting a skewed view on the topic. Look at where you're reading about it. In a subforum called Masturbation within a forum called Love & Sex. You're not going to see girls saying they don't masturbate in such a forum. And like Maryjane says, on the Internet anonymously admitting to masturbation is not as difficult as it is in face to face conversation or even by private e-mail.

 

Everyone does it! Some are just to shy to say so.

I know a couple of girls in my grade when i even joke around with them about this topic ... they go Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, the only girl who i know who openly addmited it to me is my good friend , shes a girl and me and her a very close like amazing friends... we talk to each other about everything to bad she has a bf...sigh..

I'd say I did if someone out and out asked me,

but i do get a bit uncomfortable when talking about that sort of thing with some friends... ones who arent' terribly close, who really just joke about sex and masturbation more than anything else. If I trusted them, I'd tell 'em, but if they're just gonna use it to joke around more what's the point?

 

See, the women that I have hung out with don't ever talk about that type of thing. If they did, I'd definitely fess up, heck, I think it would be fun to talk about, get suggestions for new toys to try!

 

I am pretty open about it. If anyone asks I will admit to it and say that I do- I really don't see it as anything to be at all ashamed or embarrased about. Most of the girls I know would not admit to it though although I suspect that many of them probably do. I think it's a shame it is frowned upon the way it is.

I think it depends on who you hnag out with. I usually get nervous when someone asks me if I "hoist my flag" because a lot of my friends don't need to because they have regular sex....but then again I'm a guy so everyone just assumes I do anyway

 

Masturbation is not something to be ashamed about, i'll tell you one thing.......It sure does release a lot of stress afterwards, but as someone said it's easy to admit it on here but in person its difficult, im very open about my sexuality(bisexual) and therefore not ashamed of telling people(if they want to know) that i masturbate. It's a very nice feeling

 

Ugh, all the girls at my school hide it exept one of the girls who im good friends with.

Its amazing having good friends of the opposit sex becasue she always tells me how she does it , so if i ever have a gf i know how to use my tonge and fingers hopefully

There are some women who simply don't masturbate, or have never tried

however, they don't usually frequent love and sex forums. Some do, but it's pretty rare

 

Interesting how much things changed simce 2006 when this post first circulated. There’s still progress to be had but now everyone can find their tribe and be frank about it, and even in general people now know it’s ok to masturbate.
