nooo I mena what is going on as far as what the narrarator is really doing, we jsut see the whole him with Tyler, we can't know exactly what it would be like with just him but you saw him kicking his own ass at the end, I am sure they could work it out but actually, the book is far less risky about all of that
this is probably my favorite movie i have ever seen... fight club and american history x are both similar, so if you havnt seen one of them you should. the plot to this film was really good, and i baught the dvd for my parents for christmas cause they have sucky movie taste. i think i have watched this film about 8 or 9 times so far... each time i watch it i notice something more in it. the first time i saw it i was kind of confused at the end though... "just because you stick a feather up your but does not make you a chicken"

Is your life so empty you can't honestly think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed by authority that you give respect and credence to all who demand it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job, start a fight, prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity, you will become a statistic. You have been warned.
how are they similar? they both have Ed Norton and some relevence in the world today, that is where the similarities end
both the films had similar messages behind them, and yes they both had norton. they were both about mentalities of different people nowadays. one delt with faschism, and racism, and the other delt with war against fascism and trying to make things equal.
I saw this movie last year in my philosophy class. It was so amazing to me. I can't even explain how much I love this movie.
i haven't read the book, but i hear the end differs;in the book jack is satisfied with his work and retires to a loony house. i love the end in the movie.the scene where marla and jack hold their hands and all the buildings collapse before them is a beautifull metaphor with a very positive message.the individuals and their feelings for each other priming over any institution or sistem...the two being the center of the world and anything else proving irrelevant and redundant. my all times favourite.
