Love this movie. The book is of course better, but Bale's performance was perfect.

    Any one else a fan???

I first saw this movie oversees in 2001 with my Lebanese friend Ammoud. We smoked hashish and laughed our asses off. When I was in the states a couple months ago I finally bought this DVD. For years I was looking and if I could find it, it was always $30. I bought this movie at a Circuit City in Minnapolis in November and it was only $16.99. It is the uncut version, Killer Collector's Edition. I show this movie to friends on occasion and it is always a hit because one angle it can be seen is the blind eye that is turned towards the American elite.

Their old stuff was a little too 'new wave' for my taste

haha, best scene of the movie hands down.

I loved it, though the third act it started getting ehhh. You know that it actually didnt all take place in his head, the author of the book says that the point of it was that (i havent seen the movie in awhile so i might be a little off) the business men in the 80s were so shallow and fake that they dont even know each other, i a second ago typed up an example from the movie but deleted it because its been too long since ive seen the movie i didnt wanna fuck it up. But look it up.

Honestly, it was one of the FEW Movies that didn't upset me because it was so far from the book.

Bret Easton Ellis is a great writer. I have a lot of his work, the only one I didn't quite like was Glamorama.

lol Huey Lewis and the news... they played Simply Irresistable on the radio last weekend and I realized that song will forever remind me of that scene lol.
