why is it that only christians attack other religions?

i am a christian, and i respect the religions of others. i think there is a lot of good stuff in other religions, and rather than belittle, mock, or literally attack people who adhere to them; we should instead use the opportunity to learn.

 

dude you cant be a christian and repect the beliefs of others. ..........like many people that call themselves Chiristan you havnt actualyl read the part in the old Testement that says Non-believers should be killed.

 

and how the fucka re capitalists more atheist than anyone.........capitalism is preached in the Bible at several non consecutive occasions, in both OT AND NT

That doesn't seem very tolerant to me...

I get sick of people constantly bashing christianity, what you're angry/annoyed about is the actions of the church which very often abuses its power.

Oh and don't judge christianity on crazy fundementalists because that equates to judging Islam on the actions of fanatics who utterly misinterpret the idea of Jihad


(Incidently i'm a christian and find other religions wholly fascinating and disagree with the concept of the church...)

heres what i tihnk i dont if someone may have already come up with this theory and said it cause i jsut went to the last page, but i think that christianit yadn such is based on trying to impress God(which is believed by all christians) so because we try to impress God and show how great we personally we put down other religions to show that we are better and should be embraced by him. i also think tho that our subconcious leads this theory of trying to impress God to lead us to put down others and strive to be better than other matierialistically. i think it all comes from trying to impress Him, tht is why we denounce other things ro try and be better even at petty things.(i hope this made sense i was rambling)
