Know any good licks to practice daily for a little training?

I admit to slacking off in my training, and I really don't have anything in mind for speed.

don't worry too much about technique...unless that's what your really shooting for. passion, inspiration, and motivation are much more important. so get inspired and just start playing. that's how you'll get good

Well I want to increase my capabillities with speed for whatever reason.

People get good at different things. I'm just trying to round myself out.

It's apparent that only a handfull of people here have learned how to play fast.

Well.. I learned to play country stuff when I was little... mixed it with blues, bluegrass, folk, and older rock... jazz.

Sure. But no matter what kind of music you play, it wouldn't hurt to acquire greater agility in the fingers.
